sunday stash..wk10

are you ready??
for a stash report headed in the right direction??
shocking i know.

fabric OUT
fabric for the start of this quilt
a chunk of plume from this stash report
baking for this quilt
&
someone reminded me that when i announce the etsy sale i mentioned helping me with my stash.. how could i forget?  i sold off my personal stash... so that counts as stash busting!  {thanks for the reminder!!}

fabric IN

20 yards from this giveaway
of Prairie Paisley by Minick & Simpson for moda

interesting thing is that a few have this on the selvage
"Bias Strip by Sandy Gervais"
all the same screen.. and defiantly not a bias stripe!!
now i feel like i have limited edition misprint selvages!!

all of the rest seem to be fine...
{ minus the fact that the P in polly isn't a capital letter.. and Laurie has an E on the end! }

more plume

hope valley by denyse schmidt
fat quarters

love by amy butler
fat quarters

and....
believe it or not i went to a quilt show yesterday and only bought 5 yards.
i'm very proud of my restraint!

i got vintage chenille

and a few fat quarters

i did also snag some vintage trim & buttons!

so this week
35.92 in
88.04 out

YTD totals
purchased: 239.29 yds
busted: 161.95 yds
net: -77.34 yds

so happy to have a week in the right direction!
{ although many people would consider stash enhancement the right direction! }

I love that term "stash enhancement" ~ I will be using that a lot with my Hubby from now on! LOL

It seems that they need editors for printing fabric, funny...I hadn't looked that close at mine, but yo bet I will now just for entertainment!

Look at you go! Great purchases, and a VERY productive week! But only 5 yards at the quilt show? I think you're saving it up for Long Beach! LOL

Good job! I am finishing up a few swap blocks but next up for me is a Tee shirt quilt for a graduation gift, that won't help with the stash busting much!

Great job on busting your stash! That's funny about the misprinted selvages. :)

A girl after my own heart. I love collecting chenille. They make the most scrumptous pillows and baby quilts. Watching little baby hands investigating the different textures is very heart warming.

Can't wait to see what you make with Plume! I have some coming into my stash but have no idea what I'll do with it. Still waiting for the right inspiration :-)

I don't think wins from giveaways should count :) Love the Hope Valley. I just ordered a lot of that last week. Have no idea what to do with it though!
