disclosure: this is a sponsored giveaway by Kathy Brown & Martingale
We were recently given an E-copy of
Kathy Brown's new Book
Fat-Quarter Quickies. The book is filled with great projects that will use up some of the fat quarter bundles you have laying around.
The book also features Kathy's
Fat Quarter Cutter, a ruler she designed specifically for cutting up fat quarters.
My favorite project in the book is called Sail Away. It features beautiful triangles against a crisp white background. The quilt looks like it will come together very easily and is great for someone just learning to quilt.
Kathy has written 3 other books for Martingale.
Take 5: Quilts from Just 5 Fabrics
More Take 5 Quilts: 16 New Quick and Easy Projects
Strip-Smart Quilts: 16 Designs from One Easy Technique
If you have read any of her other books you know that she has a "story" to go with each quilt. This book is no different and I enjoyed reading the stories at the start of each pattern.
The book is filled with many easy to follow directions to make lots of projects at all skill levels.
Here are a few other of our favorites from the book.
Caribbean Cooler
Peepholes
Pixy Stix
