My name is Jody of the Fabric Shoppe! A little about me...I am married to my best friend who by trade is a pastor. We have 2 girls age 1 and almost 3. Since I was little I have had a deep love for creating and handmade! I took a quilt class at a local quilt shop in college and found that I love the possibility that a piece of fabric holds. I started the Fabric Shoppe on Etsy back in 2008 after frustrating searches for modern fabric for my handmade business. I love how Jody offers bundles of all sizes. In many of the fabrics you can choose FQ, half yard or full yard. You can also create your own bundle in a variety of sizes!

I love the idea of building your own fabric bundles. My favourite colour is hard to pick, I like them all, especially brights lately. Having said that, the Ty Pennington collection looks wonderful and would push me in a different colour direction, and as they say, a change is as good as a rest.

Well I checked out her shop (shoppe - tee hee), and just had to purchase some Sugar and Spice in the lovely green and pink. A friend is having a baby soon, and the colors she picked are pink and green! I didn't know there was a fabric line with the exact same shade of color as she picked! Definitely a new favorite.
Remix Fabric by Ann Kelle for Robert Kaufman-1/2 Yard Bundle caught my eye straight away. Love it!

That sure is a hard decision but I think my choice for favorite would be Kona Solid Classic Palette or Sugar and Spice - so very hard as they are all beautiful.
I love just about every color, so it is difficult for me to pick a favorite. But if I truly had to pick one it would probably be a dark red.

The Fabric Shoppe has wonderful fabrics. The bundle of Christmas fabrics (Colorful Christmas Fabric by Mind's Eye for Riley Blake, Fat Quarter Bundle- 6 Total) has certainly caught my eye and I think would be fun to make something with for this coming Christmas.
