Also... I didn't take photos... but
I took Cherri for her first cheesesteak...
I took her to her first diner...
... and along with my dad gave her a driving tour of the city's famous places.
It's always so much fun for me to share Philadelphia with someone for the first time.
The pool table worked perfect to hold the quilts.
Cherri talking about the book.
Something was funny...
Cherri asked me to tell the story of when she showed me the inspiration for this quilt.
(Thank you to my dad for taking the photos.)

Loved the quilt show!
And I'll have to place my reservation for a cheesesteak tour - Yummmmmm. Wish one of our lacrosse tournaments was in your area!
I loved visiting Philadelphia when Meg was in school. And the cheesesteak and the diners and several spots of epicurene delight. How fun to see all of Cherri's quilts in persona dn get to fondle them too!
Missing Philly today :(
Thanks for the quilt pics - sometime I am just stunned by the beauty of her work - so "simple" patchwork-wise yet so complicated - the movement and colors and pattern with randomness - wow. Thank you for sharing!
You're guild looks like so much fun, I wish it wasnt 90 min away from me!
I think the Newark, DE Quilter's Guild doesn't exist anymore.... lame :(
Great photos. I truly enjoyed listening to Cherri and was so inspired by her work. Thank you so much for arranging her visit to the guild.
Every time I scrolled down I picked a new favorite. Since I love Christmas I choose FaLaLa.
The quilts are beautiful. I ordered the pattern for the last one. Can't wait to make it up. I have some gorgeous solids just waiting on me!
Gorgeous quilts! Amazing!!!! I love every one of them. Thanks, Dad, for taking the pictures. And thank you, Julie, for sharing.

Quilt show and cheesesteaks! What a wonderful night full of good food, great friends, and lots of color!
You made this former Philadelphian's mouth water....over the beautiful quilts AND the thought of a cheesesteak!
Wonderful quilt show and lots of bold, fun designs.
Looks like everyone had a great time.
Love the quilts.
Sharing this with a friend who has the book! Thanks for the pics and for sharing!
Those quilts are stunning, I recognize a couple. That looks like a fun get-together!
Great trunk show- I have been wanting to make the House's House quilt! They are all great though.
I love the colors of your quilt but the touch of pink really makes it!
I can't believe all that you do with fabric. Your eye and ability to manipulate the fabric is tremendous.
