Longarm Quilting Workbook by Teresa Silva + a Giveaway!

My friend & one of my favorite quilting collaborators, Teresa Silva of Quilting is My Bliss, has written a new book that's available now, Longarm Quilting Workbook.

I was so excited for Teresa to write her new book that I wrote the foreward for it!

This book features some excellent quilt photography that shows off how the quilting works with the fabric & the block designs to bring the finished quilt together. It is also spiral bound with a lay-flat design, which I love for quilt-related workbooks!

The book features an excellent quilt gallery. Teresa included a lot of my designs. She quilted all of them and they were pieced by either me, Teresa or Leslie Meltzer of 50 Sq Ft Studio.

Love all the quilts in this book! But I'd want to see the quilting on Sweet Tooth up close and personal so that when I make mine (I have all the fabric, just need to finish up some others first) I have an idea of how to quilt it.
This book looks great!

Oh that gravity quilt - I would totally need to inspect that one!

I would love to see the Sweet Tooth quilt up close. I love the dark background- but the light looks good too! Were they quilted the same way?

momto1 said...

Both of the Sweet Tooth quilts! I have the book, and my daughter gave me some gorgeous fabric that is all lined up and ready for me to make (of course, when I get some of these other things with deadlines done...). I LOVE Teresa's quilting, and I'd love to see up close how she worked with these. Toes in the Sand is on my list as well.
