My super easy place mats & holder are featured in a new bookazine!
I used Central Park by Kate Spain.
Pre-quilted fabric + 1 Jelly Roll = Fun placemats & a holder!
Here is the cover of the bookazine
"Perfect for Precuts"
I have a limited number of copies available in the shop!...& here they are all set up for lunch by the APQ crew.
The photos above looks yummy... but when I found out that matching plates were coming out from Crate & Barrel I knew I needed them! Ok so I probably don't need them, but I really wanted them. :-) I made a trip to C&B this weekend to grab them before they are gone.
The plates are a bit darker in color than the fabrics, but they still look beautiful together. I might even make some matching napkins!

wow - these are gorgeous. I didn't know about the plates...how wonderful! I'm going to have to grab that magazine, too. :)
LOL - ok... that last comment was from me. "Tanner" is my son, and I didn't realize I was logged in as him. Definitely a Monday...
Cute placemats...and love that they coordinate with the plates!
Congrats on being published again. I love the placemats and the plates will go so well with them!! I just ordered this magazine online (I couldn't resist when I found I have a quilt on the moda bake shop ad on the back) and I can't wait to get this wonderful pattern!
I love central park! I'm using a lot right now for nursery. But now I'm thinking maybe a few placemats too for when the baby is a bit bigger!
Beautiful and so Springy...makes me smile :) And those plates are a definate bonus!
I love the Central Park prints and the dishes, and really like your placemats too. But they need to make the magazine a bit sturdier to be worth the price tag! LOL
Very very cute! And great with the dishes - -
My Guild Philanthropy group just sent me a big box of projects to work on for the Guild, for the community....placemats for the senior center...so this is good inspiration for me; thanks!
love the placemats..and the plates are lovely
No way, C&B has matching plates??? AAHHH!! I used to live minutes from a store. Guess I'll have to make a trip there!
I LOVE these Julie! and to have matching plates ~ what a beautiful table arrangement! Definitely have to get this magazine!
I picked up this magazine in Boise last week and love it. The shop that I got it in had just unboxed them. I haven't been through every pattern in the bookazine but they all look like a lot of fun.
Congrats on another publication.
Your place mats are awesome! I like the plates you found. they match wonderfully. :)
Those are nice looking mats Julie. I like the holder idea too!
That Central Park is a little piece of Heaven! And the dishes! OMG - they match perfectly. Your placemats are adorable. How clever! Jenn
Your placemats are adorable (of course I like everything you make!) and the dishes are so cool !
They look great in Central Park! And those plates...LOVE! I can't wait to get my hands on that book-a-zine!
The dishes are done in one of my favorite prints from Central Park. If I had extra spending money, I'd be buying plates!!
Those look really nice. Can't wait to go buy that one, LOL! Adding more to my to-do list.

PS - I have a book giveaway going on at my blog. Would love to have you stop by!
I really want those dishes too! My mom gave me olivey-green Fiestaware for Christmas it matches the leaves on the fabric, so I'm plotting to just buy a set of the patterned plates if I ever drag myself to the mall!
Absolutely love the plates - they are my colours!
These placemats are adorable and just what I have been looking for. I just ordered the book...can't wait to get it and make them. Now I just have to pick out which fabric I want to use.
Just bought this magazine!!! Love the placemats. I will be working of them thru out the year for Christmas gifts. Thanks!
