sunday stash..wk4

so on one hand this week's report is better.
on the other it's kinda not.

while in la i finally got to go to mood.
you know... the place they go on project runway...
i got some cottons & some linen/cotton blends.
8.5 yards in.

and a box of moda yummyness arrived.
10 yards in.

i got an assortment of things done.
some borders.. bindings.. & backings.
7.35 out.

so not too bad...

but i did make another purchase in la.
but it got shipped & hasn't arrived yet.
& since i'm only counting things once they are in my possession.
this pile gets counted next week.
it's gonna be a long year ladies & gents!

so this week
18.5 in
7.35 out

YTD totals
purchased: 89.7 yds
busted: 28.86 yds
net: -60.84 yds

Oh, boy. You better get cracking before that package arrives! But what fun you can have with all that yummy fabric! And what a fun place to visit! They probably would have to push me out the door as they turned out the lights and turned locked the doors.

That's an awfully big cut of Love!! Can't wait to see what you have in store.

And you might consider having a giveaway when you hit 100 yards purchased -- that counts as busted, right ;-)

Cool! I didn't think they let real people into Mood - thought it was trade only. Good thing they're shipping the fabric home, that would be a fortune in baggae fees!

Oh gosh, I just love how you're participating in this because it means that I get to see all (most) of the fabric you're purchasing! That pile in the last pic looks awesome; I really need to get myself some Amy Butler Love

That's some mighty gorgeous stuff there! Love those soft blues/greens. I need to go to one of those type stores here in the next month or two to get fabric to recover my dining room chairs. It's going to be hard to stay focused!

Despite being 60 yards in the red, you're doing great! It's fun keeping track!

Oh I am loving that picture of you in "the" place! How exciting to actually go there. Did you give yourself 30 minutes to shop? You did a great job. Proud of you.

Fun! My friend Linda and I made it to Mood a couple of years ago. It will be extra fun every time you see it on Project Runway after this. Happy Sewing!

Goodness I just wish I could say I had 90 yards in my stash to start with!! LOL! Looks like a gorgeous pile again Julie! I am guessing the hushabye is for your niece again?

Pretty, pretty! That looks like a fun place to spend an hour or two (or twelve).

So much fun fabric...and what a great time you must have had picking it all out. I've been keeping track of what comes in this month..and it's surprising how fast it adds up. Just wondering...if a quilt top is finished, is all the fabric in that top considered "busted?"

I think we should give you a big round "FAIL" on your report card, if we were counting, but who cares?? I'm jealous of your purchases :)
