Are all of the blocks supposed to be laid out the same way? Or is there a pattern that I'm missing for the "differentness"?Let me add to that comment that I'm certainly no expert...I just approached it like a "find the differences" puzzle! :)
hahahahaha.hahahahaha.hahahahaha.you can't even tell.just finish it.
The flower portion of the blocks isn't consistent? Are they all supposed to be the same or was the difference intentional? Also one of the top baskets is pieced from more than one fabric and the rest are all from just one fabric. Now the question is, do you have to go back what is wrong in the picture?? (Hope you're feeling better)Karen
i think the two top outer corners, i think it looks good though, and it took me a while to see that. if that is even it/
looks like a couple of the smaller pink triangles are pieced wrong (in the big section, middle of the quilt)...but I really had to search to notice that.
i think the asymmetric look is really great. are you going to tear pick the seam and redo it?
Most of the baskets edges are "folded up?" Oops?
I'm with Rachel, not that noticeable...but I'm a prefectionist and I'd have to "fix" it!
Some of your triangles are off?I'm not sure if the designed called for it but if it was something that I knew was off... I would HAVE to fix it. My eye would be drawn to it everytime I looked at it and it would drive me crazy. If it doesn't but you then leave it alone and enjoy the process.
hehehe! Ooops! Glad to see that you "the quilt goddess" are susceptible to mistakes too. No big deal. Just finish it and move on.
The "top' HSTs in the green basket on the left side are in the wrong position..... I think I'd probably take it apart and fix it..... not much bothers me... but I think this would.Hey! We are only human.Quilty Hugs!!
have fun ripping and stripping! :)sorry...I couldn't help myself...I guess sewing + sick = oh oh :(
it took a while, but because I was really looking for an "error" - the pink basket with blue floweres (centre left upper) seems to have some charming woniness to it! Love it! Leave it and go!
I think you need to step away from your machine and get some more rest. You would never have done the very center of a quilt wrong when you are feeling ok. I am sorry for yet another set back.
This is such a funny post! Is it the bottom right and 2nd far left blocks? I hope you're feeling better, girl.
I had to really hunt, it was like working out a puzzle...is it the two pink half square triangles in the center? Just turned around. Shouldn't be too hard to fix. I do that stuff all the time. Love your colors...so pretty!
The boarder between rows 2 and 3 seems to be missing. Back to work!
Sometimes we need to breathe, step away from the machine & not rush to deadlines. You are still not 100%...take care...hope you feel better soon...I would be annoyed with myself too!
Seriously Julie I have no idea. Looks like a lot of work to me! so I'm impressed either way!
The flower basket second from left top row.......that one has a fancy diamond painted on it....hehe!
I agree with the charming wonkiness of the pink basket w/blue flowers near the center. I wouldn't fix it.
its the pink basket.....I see it now....lol - but I didn't see it the first time so it really isn't obvious unless you really hunt it down :o)
Just name it "Basket Case" and everyone will think your mistakes are intentional. Turn this into a design opportunity, or as grandma used to say, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.":)
according to all the commenters this thing has so many mistakes you should just chuck it, put it in a box, put my address on the top and send it away to me. i'll love it and take care of it. loli like nancy's idea...'basket case" pretty funny!
I see the problem, but I am with Rachel, just finish it. Not sure it would be worth it to fix.
Although, if you are like me it will eat at you and you will need to fix it.
Did you know that I heard that the amish purposely put a mistake in every quilt. I think it looks good and would continue but you have to do whatever will make you happy only you know whether it will bother you or not. I have a quilt I started and put the blocks on my design wall and only then did I see a couple of the blocks are wrong. Still Have not decided what to do. So I moved on and will go back to it later. I think that it sometimes is added personality but sometimes you just have to go back and fix it decide what will make you happy.
pink HST in the wrong orientation? Just call it your humble block like the Amish did... :o)
