I was quite excited when RK added slicker fabrics to the mix. The slicker fabric is 60" wide. There are so many possibilities of what to make with these including the placemats I made back in January.
So what is the giveaway? One yard of each of these two prints! Since this fabric sells for around $19-$20 a yard that is a rocking prize!

Purple is my favorite color which I fight not to use ALL the time!! But if you checked out my quilts on my blog you would have said it was blue and brown.

My favorite color is blue-the deep, bright, see forever kind of blue the sky turns on the clearest of days. Its my favorite because it does remind me of the vastness of the sky and how there is so much in the world to learn and explore.

I love, love, love RED! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. It is the color of love after all. I think the slicker fabric is fantastic. I really like the little birdies, they are adorable and so in right now. I can see a bag with them right now!:o)

I'm loving grey right now. It's neutral and I think it goes so well with other colors.
My favorite color is green...specifically grass green. I'm not sure why green is my favorite, it just is. Maybe because it reminds me of summer and being outdoors and of just being relaxed.
My favourite colour is dark purple because it reminds me of picking mulberries and blackberries as a child. We'd always stain our clothes purple with the juice [no idea why mum didn't just dress us in dark clothes for berry picking!]
I've always been a fan of red. It's bold, seductive, comforting, festive - all depends on the hue as to what it communicates.

My favorite color has always been orange. I'm not sure why, I've always thought it was a cheerful color but I also love the fall and orange is a very fall color to me. It probably helped that orange was one of both my high school and college colors.
I love love love YELLOW. It makes me happy, like sunshine, sunflowers, canaries...I could go on and on and on...And I love the slicker fabric. Too cool!

I'd love to win this fabric. I've been wanting to make chair covers for our kitchen chairs because my 2 year old spills a lot and is ruining the fabric on the chairs. The slicker fabric would be perfect for this project.
My favorite color is red. I'm not really sure why, but I've always loved it.
I love pink, but my FAVORITE color is teal. I think a lot of why is because it can go anywhere from elegant and beautiful to quirky and spunky. It is not quite a blue, and not quite a green (two other colors I love too) but is unique enough to be on its own. Do you think why I love the color may have to do with some of the reasons I love myself?

Purple. Because it's made of blue, which I also love, and red, some shades of which I love. And because there are a millionbillion shades of purple. And because many of those shades go with other colors I like a lot. And because there are particular shades of purple in the sunsets.

My favorite color is purple, but I have no idea why. This is only in the past 5 years or so, also. I'm not even sure I had a favorite color before that. I love earth tones, rust, warm browns, stuff like that, but I never really had one favorite color before purple.
Not to be a copycat, but I'm going to have to go with orange. Today, anyways!

I love ALL colors, but my favorite is Teal blue, the color of the Adriatic Sea! I've always loved the color, but being in a paddle boat in all that blue when I was 17 really made it my favorite color. Until then, I just liked color, didn't matter which one.

I love purple! It can be whimsical, royal or tropical. Every quilt needs a touch of purple.
I've always liked blue. I love blue flowers mixed with yellow.
Blue just seems to be a calming color to me.
Green, hands down. It's friendly, can be calming or energizing, goes with anything, and is a dominant color in nature.

Never thought about using laminated fabric for placemats (I've been searching and searching for some my mom would like)--so this is a "duh" moment! My favorite color is turquoise--just because I like it I guess. No real reason, just the color I always seem to go to.

Blue, always has been always will. I think originally because it was the opposite of pink, and I was a tomboy. Now it's because it's the color of an open sunny sky.
