Some assembly required

The new Koala Sewing Cabinets that I ordered arrived yesterday.  They came almost 100% build but had some assembly required for the adjustable and optional shelves.  My sister-in-law Karin was hanging out in the studio when I was attaching the shelves and snapped this photo of me.  {My right arm is stretched under the shelf screwing it in place!}

This part was a bit easier to attach...

Here they are!  We each have a Quilt Pro Plus with the optional outback leaf.  In this photo one leaf is up with shelves and the other is down behind the unit.

My machine up & in action.  The custom insert hasn't arrived yet so my machine feels like it is just floating there!

Mom's machine safely stored in her cabinet.

So far I'm happy as can be & so is my mom.  The quality of the cabinets is top notch.  I stole a bit of time away to sew today and loved every minute of it!

Oh how you'll love sewing on a flat surface! And I love the optional back leaf on mine, although the only time it's down is when the whole cabinet gets folded shut and becomes a temporary headboard for a blowup bed. How lovely the studio has come together!

I have a Koala sewing station and also a cutting table. It's wonderful to have surfaces at the right height rather than using the dining room table. Enjoy! Kathie L in Allentown

Your studio is beautiful, so full of natural light. I am afraid I would spend as much time gazing out the window as I would sewing.

I absolutely love seeing pictures of peoples' sewing spaces. Your new cabinets are awesome. I set up a new sewing space after Christmas last year and it has been SO FUN to have a work area that I adore. It really inspires creativity!

I must say I never had 1 second of "buyer's remorse" about buying Koala cabinets. Hope you love yours as much as I love those I bought 11 years ago!
