Gift Card Wallets

I have a new project to share with you!
I made these cute little gift card wallets earlier this year & they are now featured in a magazine.

Quilting Arts Gifts is a special issue of Quilting Arts Magazine & is on newsstands now.  It features more than 20 seasonal projects that would make terrific gifts including my gift card wallets.

A Gift Card Wallet is a great addition when giving someone a gift card.
You can fill one slot... or purchase a few small gift cards to places like iTunes & Starbucks and fill all the slots before giving it.
...and then the recipient can use it to keep all their gift cards organized & easy to find so that they don't forget to spend them!
...you can also use them to store business cards & store bonus cards.

They are easy & fast to make.

If you make one I'd love to see it!
{that goes for anything from my patterns and& are tutorials}

enjoy!

I love it. My daughter just bought a house and I can see this as a wonderful present for someone who is going to need a LOT of gift cards for Christmas.

How are you liking the new home?

What a great idea! I have lost a gift card on more than one occassion because I usually just keep them in the card that they came in--big mistake! I'll definitely have to pick up Quilting Arts!

I really love this idea - out to get the magazine - would also work for those loyalty cards we all carry around. Thanks for the shout out. Judy C in NC

Lovely idea! And I recognize that top fabric, the pink one from 'Pick a Bunch' (I think that's what it's called)- I love that print.

Whoa! Fantastic idea for a stocking stuffer and I'm always looking for unique things for those since that's our favorite thing to do...check out our stockings!:)

Hope your unpacking is going smoothly. I would think it is very fun to be able to start fresh and find a new home for all your stuff. And that view....expecting loads of creative stuff from you girlie!;)

I hope you beginning to settle in. Love the idea of the gift card wallets and I bought the magazine last week but have not had time to look at it. Miss you posting and look forward to more post as you get settled with your family.

What a great idea! I would love to make one for my sister, unfortunately there are hardly any quilting magazines available here in Switzerland. Will the tutorial also be on your homepage? I hope so =)

Great idea to make those large enough to hold more than one gift card Julie. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Plus, they're super cute.

I almost bought that magazine the other day but had to put it back since I remembered we liked to eat more than read at times. ha

Very cute - much better than a tiny envelope.

Hope you're settling into your California home!
