some in..
some out..
you know... the usual kinda week!

IN

some new fabric from natalie

half yards of lizzy dish by lizzy house!
this fabric is from a year ago & hard to get your hands on...
so i was super excited to find a few skinny bolts still around at cloth & bobbin!
if you have been looking for this you are in luck... i didn't buy it all... give johanna a call & she'll ship it to you!

some anna maria horner voile to make this shirt
 {inspired by this post by ashley}

and 2 yards of meadowsweet to make a bag

i also got some tufted tweets!
but for some reason forgot to take a photo.. crazy me..

OUT

5.85 for this surprise quilt
i'll show it to you in a few days once the recipient has it

2.25 yds for this bag... which should be done in a day or two

1/2yd of backing for pillow talk swap pillow
which was just received by Heather { A La Mode fabric }
it was a lot of pressure to have the swap mama herself as my partner...
but she loves her pillow!! which makes me so happy!

and 3 more yards on things in progress
that i'll show you soon!

so this week
11.25 in
11.6 out

YTD totals
purchased: 460.27 yds
busted: 299.13 yds
net: -161.14 yds

almost 300 yards busted!!
not bad for the 1/2 way point of the year... even if i still am in the negative overall.
go check out how everyone else is doing

That quilt backing looks so soft! Is it the Moda Snuggle fabric? Can't wait to see the bag :) Christine

Well I thought I would have some out this week but a cutting error (grr) has brought me to a stand still on a baby quilt until I figure out the replacement. But I've been busy buying of course. 17 yds of Kona in various colors, 4 yds of Holiday Happy (so cute!), and 3 yds of Flower Power to play with the Holiday Happy. Out...zip unless I get super powers today!

Ok...just curious....what do you think you want to do with that adorable fabric at the top?

I have lots of Meadow Sweet for my DQS9 quilt...me thinks I need to make a bag with the leftovers!! Thanks for the idea!

This is getting scary: I also was inspired by Ashley's shirts and got the tunic pattern- yet I am looking at a Kaffe fabric to use, because I could't find the red Voile fabric (in your pic) at a decent price...
300 yards, wow. Sooo, are you aiming at 600 for the entire year? That sounds like a quilt store inventory moving through your machine... and ending up in beautifull quilts. Looking forward to your next quilt pictures!

That meadowsweet fabric is something else! My sister wants me to make her the Amy Butler Birdie Sling, and I may just have to make myself one with these fabrics. :)

Yet another reason I need to go to Cloth and Bobbin! I'm making a skirt out of that same Anna Maria Horner print. It's so soft!
