wip wednesday... snowed in

you know my favorite spot to talk pictures of my quilts...

this is how it usually looks....

and this is how it looks right now.

snow is heavy.
really heavy.
and we are nervous that we may loose some trees.
not fun.

oh and we lost power today.
twice.
for a while.
also not fun.

so hopefully the power will stay on.
cause i'm staying inside for a while.
and if the power is on.. i can get my sew on!!!

I love the new look on your blog. Very nice! The snow is crazy and it's hard to believe how much of it has been falling around the U.S. We've had unusually good weather around here with just sprinklings of snow.

In the meantime, I hope you get a lot done and that the power stays on so you can.

A few mths ago we lost power and I was most upset about not being able to sew lol We've gotten a whole heap of snow too... not liking it at all.

You have been getting pounded with the snow lately. I think that if I was without power for too long, and not able to sew, I would go crazy. So here is to having power.

Wow, Julie! I'm way behind in my blog reading -- I was so surprised when I stopped by and saw you had changed your blog layout. It's fabulous!

Hope your power stays on so you can have fun while you're snowed in!

Isn't this ridiculous! We canceled all the patients yesterday and today I'm sort of playing it by ear and waiting to hear from my boss if I have to go in. Lucky me I get to go in on Sat to work to make up for it. Stay warm and I hope you keep your power and trees!

The current weather blows my mind; I live in Central Maine, where power outages and snow days from school are the absolute NORM--until this year. Today the sun is shining and there are actually spots of brown grass sticking out from the minimal snow cover. Meanwhile, everywhere else is covered in a thousand feet of snow. I'm beginning to be concerned that the end is nigh, and I'm only prepared for the zombie apocalypse, not a natural disaster. :P

Stay indoors and keep warm! I hope you get lots and lots of sewing done and don't lose power.

Hope your power stays on and you are warm. In SD we understand power outages. I have a treadle machine to use just in case. ; )

We lucked out and only got a few inches instead of feet. But my mom has been stuck in Florida for the last 2 days trying to get a flight home. Poor her, stuck in sunny 70deg weather.

I can't even imagine all of the snow! It sure is gorgeous, especially to someone from the west!

yes, being snowed in is way more fun with heat and electricity! We lost power for a few hours last weekend during the storm. Fun factor went down immensely.
