the best surprises.

are the simple things in life.

thank you for all of your kind comments.
i also got many via email
from family.. friends & so on.
one family friend wrote
"This accomplishment calls for some chocolate chip cookies!"

and it wasn't just talk!
look what got delivered to my house!!
thank you so much! ;-)


and then a few weeks ago i won this giveaway
& i've been so busy i almost forgot.

well tracey made me the cutest mini quilt!

with my favorite color orange.
& used brown kona crush too

and these babies
are a gift from me... to me.
i saw them on an endcap @ target & knew i needed them.
flour... sugar... and m&m's
i mean what else was supposed to go in there?

i also got the matching bread box
just cause ;-)

so like i said.
the best things in life.
are the little things.

My daughter and I saw those in Target too (in red) and she wanted the whole set. For her own kitchen... she's only 4. With her favorite color being red, she makes a bee-line to anything in that color and wants it. LOL.

My mom had a bread box like this in the 60s! How cute is that. I think you got it right with the M&Ms too!
