«Oldest ‹Older 1401 – 1421 of 1421This year I plan to get a head start on making holiday presents ---- throws, pillows, zippered cases, etc. Operative word is PLAN. Come September I'll probably be as far behind as years past, but hope springs eternal!
Your colors and pattern in Night Sky are beautiful! My favorite project for this summer is a quilted tote bag for my elderly mother. She uses a stair chair to get to her second story, and the tote bag keeps everything organized and in her lap. Jelly roll strips are great for making these totes.

I've been wanting to make a tea length dress for summer. I'm really tall and have a hard time finding dresses that are long enough for me, so I figured why not make one.

Oh the summer is the best- I try to get all of my Christmas gifts done early so around July I can do something special for myself or my family. I love quilting and the starlight quilt is STUNNING! I made three lap throws last summer, which I donated to a local nursing home. This summer, I hope to make a quilt for my bed!
Thanks for the contest!
My favorite summertime sewing project is usually something for Halloween or Christmas. I just love to get a head start on them and usually make at least one during the summer! Those fabrics and the pattern are lucious!!!
Summer seems a long way off here (I live in NZ), but I have grand plans in place. I have two tops that I made a couple of years ago, and I am determined to master FMQ and get them into use!
I'm looking forward to finding the time to design a setting and put together a top with blocks I won in the Block Lotto. Your Night Sky pattern is beautiful!
