Tula Pink Eden Stereo Quilt + a Fat Quarter Giveaway

I've got something fun to share with you today, check out this Stereo Quilt I made using Tula Pink's newest fabric line, Eden. I also used fabrics from Tula Pink's True Colors collection.

After some plotting and planning the layout and where I wanted each block to go, I started chain piecing.

There was a lot of fussy cutting that happened to make this quilt.

And there was even more fussy cutting. If you choose to make a Stereo quilt like this, you'll probably be best cutting from yardage or fat quarters rather than using the 10" squares that are the fabric requirements to make Stereo.

Perfect points matching up makes me happy.

The finished quilt top:

I used Tula Pink's Free Fall to back the quilt. Normally, I don't pre-wash my fabrics. Since this was one big piece of red fabric, I did pre-wash with Soak before I sent it off to be quilted.

I'm going to bind it in the grey lazy stripe from Tula Pink's True Colors collection.

Here it is as soon as it came home from the quilting spa, after Angela Walters worked her magic on it:

Tula Pink Free Fall was a perfect choice for the back.

--

Want to make a lap size Stereo like mine? Here is what you will need. Please note that this is more than the 65 - 10" Squares listed on the pattern because of the creative fabric placement. I suggest getting FQs, 1/3 Yard cuts or 1/2 Yards cuts to do fussy cutting if you desire.

What a gorgeous quilt! I made a converging corners quilt from Tula's Prince Charming collection and I want to make another one from Eden. The prints are perfect for fussy cutting the center of the block.

I would love to try "Just a Small Slice" that is on The Moda Bake Shop. The fabrics would work wonderfully.
Love your design and points. Very impressive.

I like to look at fabric for a while before I pick a pattern. Whatever pattern uses these fabrics will be beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful quilt, Julie! I'd like to make a simple half square triangle quilt or something equally as simple to show off the prints!

Id love to make the same project as you have!

I love working with triangles, making them into hexies. I will have to try something like your "stereo" and I would like to be able to do it with the Eden fabrics instead of my stash.
Thanks for the chance to win!
