Nancy Zieman's autobiography Seams Unlikely is available today. We had a chance to take a look at an early copy & be a part of the blog tour + giveaway. Woo hoo!
The cover of Nancy's autobiography, Seams Unlikely.
Check back here on Tuesday, February 11, to read my review. Be sure to check out other stops on the blog tour and learn a bit about Nancy's journey along the way:
I remember seeing her make a sweatshirt jacket at a friends house and went home and made one! I didn't know how to handsew and owned no sewing machine! Truthfully, it looked aweful but I loved it! She said anyone could make one and convenced me! I was 19! That says it all! I wish her the best no one could ask for a better role model!
I found nancy in late 80's. I had just moved to the midwest and didn't know anyone and stuck at home since i didn't know how to drive in snow yet. So i was pretty happy to find her sewing show.
While on the True Colors BH I noticed your remarks about Nancy Zieman. I am going through some old videos and came across some that I had recorded of Nancy Zieman many years ago. While I'll probably recycle them, I will always have fond memories of her show. She is an icon in the home sewing industry-I learned so much from her.
