he likes to snack!

i knew it would make the perfect "man" quilt for my dad!

here is the entire quilt

and it's far from perfect.. but he loves it.

today happens to be "the cookie monster".. aka dad's birthday

it doesn't hurt that once he took me to Krispy Kreme and we shared a dozen doughnuts for dinner!

I bought this kit at a show in Fort Washington (bet that's where you got yours, too) and made it for my son who loves to snack. Isn't it a great pattern? It was one of my first quilts and it went together so easily. I'm sure I'll make it again one day. Next time, I'll put the extra border on since I like the way yours looks.

Happy belated birthday to your dad.
