nine patch. getting there!!

last weekend = productive
this past one = not so much


today is day 22 of round #2 of amanda jean's one block a day quilt along...
on 6/17 i was at 46... today i'm at 47.

but i have made some progress... i had a few marathon cutting sessions and i have 23 sets of squares waiting to be sewn...

and all my border squares cut...
so my goal.. is finish it in 2009...

i did get started on my Good Ol' Summertime Mini Quilt Swap ... my partner gave me very little info... so i opened up my summer fun honey bun and started to have fun!


and here is what i have come up with so far... not sure where i'm going from here.. but i have a few ideas...
oh and for KJR.. i think wonky log cabin is the way i'm gonna go... so thanks for all of your suggestions!!

Hahaha -- you're in the remedial Amandajean group with me! I was just thinking about that quilt yesterday -- I've got to get going on it -- again!

btw half of the things jake says i can't write on the blog because too many people who know us around here read it...he makes me spit out my diet dr. pepper all the time. he's pretty funny when he tries. ;)

I love the zigzags you are making. I still have to work on my swap mini quilt too. I've been playing around with some ideas. I bought fabric for it. But I'm still not sure. I really have to get going with it.
