how i work

my designs start on paper...

but then i take most of them into EQ

i tweak them... play with scale..

and so on.

and then i make the quilt!

one of my favorite things about EQ is how you can import fabric swatches...

for example... remember this quilt?

fabric is husabye by tula pink {debbie has a few kits left}

i used EQ to show color options

it's super fast... and fun!

{ i warn you i've spent hours making "digital" quilts sometimes! }

it was easy as can be to import the swatches... and play with them!

so do you use eq?

if you do what is your favorite thing about it?

reason #1 to love eq - color options

sometimes it is hard for people to look at a pattern and picture it in other fabric...

and that can stop them from making it...

but it shouldn't!

and eq helps to show people a visual in other fabrics..

and it is super easy..

especially b/c companies like moda give you swatches that are easily used in eq

so now that you see more options.. go make one!
