Today is my stop on the True Colors Blog Hop!
I worked with True Colors by Joel Dewberry...
and Botanique by Joel Dewberry
I made a Baby Size quilt top from my Disco quilt pattern.
It was fun to mix the True Colors with Botanique.
Now I just need to decide on what fabrics I want to use for the backing and the binding!
Joel's saturated colors worked great with my Disco quilt pattern. Disco loves to play with high & low contrasting colors, so the True Colors fabrics + Joel's fabrics played so well together on this quilt top.
I might even add more fabrics to make this a lap size so I can snuggle with it on the couch.

I would make a modern throw for a wedding shower. I might use the crazy eights pattern or look for something new.
I would use True Colors to make 9 square patch baby quilts for our disaster layettes project. The True Colors is not my typical deisgn or color choice for baby quilts but it is good to move out of my comfort zone. Fuels creativity. The fabrics are beautiful.

My daughters (Almost 14, and 10) are going to have to share a room very soon because I am pregnant with their new brother .. this fabric would go a LONG way to help sooth the tension because I could make them individual cushions or pillow cases, or other room decorations! :)
