Floating Triangles far and away! I have a love affair going with triangles. Thanks for celebrating your new book with a very generous giveaway.

It is so hard to pick just one! But, since I have to I would say that the Raspberry Dessert is at the top of my list. I can see it in so many colorways that will please even the pickiest person.

Thanks for such a wonderful book! I've got it on my holiday wish list but I may not be able to wait until then!

I love the PATTERN of floating triangles--unusual and packs a punch. I also love the color schemes you did with te green coins and the raspberry one.

WeaslerQuilts said...

I love all of them, but if I pick a favorite, it would have to be Framed Coins. I love how it looks so simple, yet so stunning all at once. Congrats on your book, If I don't win any of the great giveaways, I'm definitely going to buy it! I've enjoyed reading all about it on all the blogs :)

Carol said...

My favourite quilt is Framed Coins, but Four Patch Shift is a close second. What's not to like about four patches?

Shannon Wallace said...

Hi Julie! Congratulations on you new book, your new ruler Hex-a-Go-Go, and all of the hype in the quilting world over your quilts! :)

Oh wow, to pick a favorite...do I have to narrow it to just one? Okay, well if I must...Box of Chocolates! I like that this quilt uses an array of fabrics. To me, it could easily become a scrap buster quilt. It gives one the freedom to use really fun and colorful fabric, or to not do so but still end up with a simply fun quilt! Also, it looks like a very realistic quilt to: one, cut out (I am not a fan of the cutting out part); two: sew together. I'm a novice, so I have finished just a few quilts. I KNOW that I can actually do this one and not get frustrated, AND, it's still beautiful!!! Thanks!

Linda said...

I'm a big fan of bright scrap quilts, so box of chocolates is my favorite.

New Salem Homestead said...

If had to pick just one, it would be Raspberry Desert. There are several color ways I want to make it in!

so new to blogging, but so glad that I found yours! What a smartie pants you are! (PS...my daughter said that quilting was for "old people" Hah! Sent her your blog!) I am so excited about your ruler! Have a project all lined up and ready to go! Thanks!

Silverlining said...

Rasberry Dessert if my favorite quilt by far. Just love the illusion it plays on the eyes. You just can't take your eyes off of it.

foodmathquilts said...

I love the colours and design of "floating triangles" . But then, I'm a sucker for simple repeated blocks that make cool secondary patterns. Raspberry dessert (pie??? I'm having a brain fart) keeps catching my eye, but I think I'm less likely to make that one. Is the pattern similar to hidden wells?

Sarah

Marg M said...

Definitely Raspberry Dessert in any colour way. I love the colour formations with the blocks on point

Linda V said...

Of the ones I have seen, I love "Box of Chocolates!" Thanks for the giveaway.

I just love Raspberry Dessert - everytime I see it, it just grabs my attention. It has to be one of my all time favourite patterns

Lisa said...

I love "Box of Chocolates". I love solids and modern fabrics. You used all those modern fabrics, showcasing each center square. I love it because so many fabrics are so beautiful I don't want to cut them up in little pieces. Making your quilt I could use my favorites and still view the prints or do it in solids and it would still be awesome. That is why it is my favorite quilt but I see other pictures from the book that are beautiful! Need to win a copy, yes I do!

I love most of the ones I've seen but I keep going back to box of chocolates. Maybe it's the name. I don't know. Also, I've loved reading the questions you had for everyone so far. I'm surprised that so many use straight binding. Ever since I used your binding tutorials, I have used bias binding and love it. It is SO much easier to miter corners with it (also I've fallen in love with rounded corners). But someday I'm sure I'll only have strips or something and will be forced to go back to SOG.
