yes i cut into it already!!

three in a box!

this is one of my favorite quilts that i've designed!

~~i don't even know what the issue's cover looks like yet..~~

just that this photo of my quilt will be in there!

sometimes deadlines are tight... and i was busy at 3am quilting this baby

and when i was done... this was how much thread i had left!

talk about cutting it close!!

...and yes... it is bound in this photo.

i actually bound it once 1/2 the quilting was done...

and then went back and finished the quilting...

i pieced my back as usual...

i also had just borrowed my brother's dslr when i finished this quilt.

so i had lots of fun snapping all kinds of photos with it!

and while it looks all nice & sunny...

this was actually january...

i just got lucky that the day i finished it was right before all the crazy snow storms we had!

also...

did you ever wonder what i was working on during my studio photo shoot?

i showed one photo that showed make life.. but that was it!

so many photos showed what i was working on... that i could only show a few till now!

fons & porter did show a sneak peek at the end of their last issue!

copies are now available in the shop !!

and my quilt is home!!

i'm so happy to have it back!!

Due to popular interest I have re-released this design as a stand alone pattern. The pattern has 4 size options.

i'm calling mine... city blue

the fabric is the new quilter's linen from Robert Kaufman
and some kona crush mixed in too!

and june is my month in bee beautiful...
6.6 yards of neptune.. kona crush and quilter's linen
and 2.92 for a neptune layer cake
it was NOT easy for me to cut up my favorite fabric...
and send it off... but i trust the women in my bee...
and i'm very excited to have a BIG neptune quilt in my future!!
