Quiltmaker's Scrap Squad has taken on my Raspberry Dessert Pattern!
I have to tell you that I love this idea. Some quilters can look at a pattern and see it in different colors, but some see a red & pink quilt and can't imagine it with other colors. It's also cool to see how the original pattern can be adapted. Some changed the setting... some added borders... one even made a rainbow! This group has inspired me to want to make my own pattern in a new way.{My original Raspberry Dessert}
Take a look at how different each one is!!

Thanks so much for presenting our quilts from the scrap squad. I enjoyed this pattern so much, it went together beautifully and makes a nice presentation. I hope my quilt brings some comfort to a wounded soldier.
I wish you ever success Julie and look forward to seeing what beautiful things you create for us next!
Happy Sewing
i think this is an awsome idea.
some peeps just need a visual.

Those are amazing. Thanks for sharing how different one pattern can look with different color choices.
Well done Julie another fantastic design, I love this one lots and it would prove to be very versatile. Can't wait to play with this one!
I think this is such an amazing pattern. It looks good in any color way. I'd love to try it in blue and white :-)
Amazing! Very cool to see the individuality and creativity!
Wow - the pattern looks so different depending on the color-way people chose. Thanks for sharing all these great photos for inspiration! I especially like the last 2.
Well I was able to tell this is a pattern I liked and would do even though pink is not even close to being my favorite color. I still love seeing all the variations and what everyone brought to the table. They are all beautiful quilts. Must be really fun for you to see this!
As soon as I saw your pink version, I started picturing lots of different color combinations! I especially love Dionne's version of this quilt with the black in it. They are all so lovely!

I cannot believe how different these quilts look! What a great idea/ opportunity to show off so many different versions of your quilts.
Its a great pattern and everyone did such a great job - good inspiration! thanks!
Julie,
Although just looking at your patterns gives us ample motivation to make a quilt with them, I hope our versions of Raspberry Dessert will give everyone further incentive to sit down with your pattern and make one of their own.
Thanks again,
Pat
Wow! The talent of quilters is evident right here!
Thanks for spotlighting our quilts and thanks again for a wonderful pattern. It went together so nicely and I think they are all wonderful!
The Scrap Squad ladies are amazing. I love them all! Thanks for spreading the love, Jaybird.
So cool - I want THAT job! Your pattern's so versatile - it looks great in all the colorways. Sometimes, I get so caught up envisioning one project in a certain fabric that it blows my mind to see/think of it in a different fabric.
I think that the quilts are wonderful!! I love to see different color choices with the same pattern.
This was such a fun pattern to work on. I was so excited when we were given the assignment. To see them all posted together on your blog is such a bonus. Thanks again, for the great pattern and for showing our work.
Cheers,
Dionne
Love all these variations...from summery to fall and a rainbow inbetween!
Gosh! I love them ALL!
The variations are all fantastic! Confirms for me that it's a pattern I'll enjoy making, since I was going to pick totally different colors anyway.
Wow! What a grand idea to showcase your pattern...the different colorways definitely display the beauty of your design!
Thank you, Julie, for showcasing our Scrap Squad quilts. It is fun for me to see them altogether. Isn't it amazing how we can all see something different in one pattern. I know your followers are enjoying this pattern from all the comments I'm seeing. This pattern was very to make and all turned out nicely. Keep up the good work!
Donna
Congrats on a great new pattern. I love the idea to get different quilters to do the same quilt in various colorways. It is very inspiring!
I never would have thought to put the quilt together in such different ways. I would have changed colors but would never have thought scrappy. Thanks for posting all of them. What an inspiration!
Oh my! When I seen your pattern so many ideas came to my mind! I love the different variations of this pattern!
