No new projects for summer. As a Midwesterner, I have to get all the outdoor time Mother Nature gives me. So I have one quilt top to sandwich, and some decisions to make on another top. It's those decisions that always take time...

I love the Kona solids. I have the pattern and sidekick and Hex n more rulers from Jaybird. Now all I need is the fabric to make the pattern. That is my summer project. I want to get more comfortable with working with 60* triangles and hexie relationship. Thank you for the giveaway. Hope I win.

We spend a month in Lake Tahoe each summer in a very rustic cabin. I take my machine with me, my iron, cutting mat, rotary cutter and a couple of rulers. I take a couple of projects with me each summer to work on. I have them all cut out before we leave so they are ready to go.

My favorite summer project was several (well, more like a decade) ago. My mom and Gram pieced a quilt for me and then I quilted most of it in a week (I was bored; my friends were busy, my family was out of town and I couldn't sleep. It also wasn't the most detailed quilting ever done). I have fond memories of listening to music and being soothed by the repetition of the stitching.

But I'd like to imagine that THIS will keep me busy this summer?! I love anything with bold geometric designs and bright colours. Hadn't seen your blog before today but I'll be subscribing as soon as I post this :)

P.S. Best giveaway by far!

My favorite summertime project to date was my Civil War Summer quilt last year. My two sons and I spent the summer traveling to Civil War National Parks in honor of the 150th anniversary. I took along pieces and stitched while they completed their Junior Ranger badges. It still isn't finished, but we will travel to some more this year, so I will be able to get the borders on and get it quilted.

My "looking forward to summer" project is a celtic knot wall hanging. I am hand stitching the bias strips down so this will be a great "take with me" project for when I am camping. I love your colours for the Night Sky pattern. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in an awesome giveaway.

These fabrics are just gorgeous. Thank you for the giveaway. Last Summer, I made a Double Wedding Ring quilt top for my bedroom but I didn't get a chance to quilt it. I am determined I am going to do that this Summer.

The quilt pattern Night Sky is lovely. My summer project will be finishing up a number of UFOs and doing lots of actual quilting on them.

I can't wait to make a quilt from the gorgeous Shwe Shwe fabric I bought on my African holiday. Something to remind me of the amazing time under the gorgeous skies watching the incredible wildlife.

I want to expand my improvisational piecing skills - I always find myself drawn to the irregular! Thanks for a chance at the give-away!!

My favorite summer project is English paper piecing, since it's portable for all of our summer travels, I can work on it outside, and it's not so hot sitting on my lap. Thanks for the chance!

I'd like to start EPP this summer, the theory is, it is portable, and can be enjoyed outside whilst watching over the children.

I'm going to go sew with Mom in June - we usually can get a couple tops done when together for a few weeks. Lotus is definitely on my list this year. I love the Night Sky pattern too!

My plan is to design patterns for 12 sunflower blocks that I will hand-piece over the 12 weeks of summer.

I love your pattern Night Sky. I have been wanting to buy the pattern and supplies but we have had a financial reversal. I will make this quilt in size King when the time is right. I would make the quilt, just like you made it, using black. Thanks for the chance to win the making of Night Sky. I love Night Sky and lots of your other quilts.
