One of my favorite sewing projects during the summer, was 10 years ago, sewing my wedding dress! Yes, this summer is my 10th anniversary! It was pure white satin charmeuse with chiffon overlays, two-tiered skirt, v-neck and v-empire waist with long sleeves that ended in three graduated flared sleeves. the hems of the sleeves and skirt edges, i did with the roll-hem on my serger with a white iridescent thread. I felt so elegant and princess-like; one of my aunts said I looked like an angel. Aww. It was a great day, marrying my sweetheart, best friend, and firefighter hero for time and eternity.

I love sewing at our little cabin by the lake in the summertime. Hubby goes to work and I sew all day with a break I the afternoon to swim and back to piecing quilts.

My summer project this year is to make a Lucy Boston quilt. I just received my templates today and cannot wait to get started. I just love a portable project I can stitch in the sun. I love your Night Sky quilt. It is so colorful.

That's gorgeous...but I don't know if I could do it...maybe someone could make it for me. =) LOL.

I can't wait to sew this summer...in general. As a homeschooling Mom, I find little time for myself with school and part-time work. Thanks for a chance to win.

Fabulous giveaway. Thank you! My favorite summertime sewing project is the one I'm currently working on -- the Gypsy Wife quilt by Jen Kingwell. Loving it!

I have two projects that I need to finish this summer. The 1st is a rag quilt for a granddaughter's July 5th birthday. The 2nd is a t-shirt quilt for a granddaughter who will be leaving for college mid August. But 1st I have to finish a quilt which is a graduation gift for a young friend who is receiving her doctorate from the University of Illinois this next Saturday. Nancy: rangerer@sbcglobal.net

I'm looking forward to doing some embroidery this summer. I like that I can take it anywhere because it is small.

This summer, I have a request from my husband to make a quilt for our home! I am going to attempt to design my own quilt, in honor of our 25th wedding anniversary.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this lovely package.

One summer I was out of work so I took the time to hand quilt a queen size double Irish chain as a wedding quilt for a friend. It was a wonderful break in between all the job searches and the few interviews I had. I finished it a couple of weeks before I got my new job, too!
