I've got a rainbow project that I'm so excited to work on. I'm loving all the color and it's been waiting for two years for me to have time. So this past weekend, when no one was around, I broke open the fabric and started cutting instead of doing borders like I should have. It was glorious. :) Thanks for the chance to win!

What an amazing giveaway prize, how generous!

In the summer, I tend to like to sew smaller things - pouches and bags and things that don't tend to lead to fabric or batting being draped over my lap! I also tend to tun to embroidery more often in the summer -- it's portable if you go out and again doesn't tend to leave you with heaps of fabric resting on any part of your body. I'm beginning to feel like we're never going to have any warmth this year, it's just going to be winter and chilly spring from now until winter comes again, so maybe I'll re-evaluate :D

I'm looking forward to making my Mom a camper quilt this Summer! We took a trip to Maine last year together in her Airstream camper, and LOVED it up there. We decided to all go back again this year too, so I'm going to surprise her with a quilt made of fabrics all related to our trip (moose, fishing, blueberries, campers, etc.) I can't wait to see it on the couch in her camper!

At the beginning of the year I listed three large-ish projects that I wanted to work on this year. I've added two more to the list, but it's almost mid-May and I haven't started on any of them!

My summer activities (beginning today, with luck) will be balancing working on those projects and actually noticing/enjoying the great weather!

I just bought a bunch of knits to make some summer dresses for myself. I'm working on a park bench quilt in the meantime. :)

Since we're busy in the summer, I love having some hand-work available, such as hexies, cross stitch or embroidery. Spetzie at att dot net

This summer I'm excited to be starting 3 baby quilts! 2 are for twins. All three are girls. I think it's easier to make a baby quilt for a girl than for boy!

What a gorgeous giveaway!! I have always wanted to make an all solids quilt. I usually choose smaller sewing projects for summer as the kids are home from school and we always seem to have activities to go to. I love to make dresses for my girls and want to make some cases from the new Noodlehead pattern. possibly a picnic quilt would be a fun summer project or at least start on some economy blocks for a quilt for my youngest. Thanks for the chance to win!!

My favorite summer projects are quilt tops... batting and quilting all the layers is too hot and heavy for summer!

I have not especially summer projects, just something to finish between homework for all the family.

I love to hand sew while watch my kids play outside in the summer. English paper piecing is so portable and easy to do whereever we end up going.

I've got a few yards of Tula Pink laminated cotton prints that I plan on making into beach bags! A summer project, but ironically I plan on giving them as Christmas gifts because my family will be vacationing in Hawaii for the holidays.

What a sweet bundle! Love all the solid colors!

I don't get much time at my sewing machine in the summer when all the kids are home, but I do get quite a bit of English paper piecing done while keeping an eye on them in the yard or at the playground. I will definitely make time to get to my machine if I win though. I really like your patterns, and I haven't tried any with your rulers yet.
