Great use for a Halloween project
Hmm the colors remind me of a London fog from Starbucks. I would make a nice quilt with a sporadic splash of color. It would be great to use on a rainy day.

Well, if it had been a year and a half ago, I would have sent those instead of the Kona yardage I cut in the same colors to send to some bee buddies! So now I don't know - would still probably go to use in bee blocks and other miscellaneous projects. :)
you'd win all three!! holy moly!! well I know with the layer cake I would do hst...with the roll I would do a quilt with rectangles (which are so easy with a jelly roll) and with the charm pack, a quick and easy quilt with a bright white (? not sure) sashing...these are just a few ideas...ooh, you'd win all three?

Oh my goodness, I love those colors. I would use those pre-cuts to make a 3-D quilt for my son. He loves black and grey and the 3-D quilts!
I honestly would love to make an all solids quilt with them and the addition of one or two other pop colors! It would be fabulous!
I probably have (or did have) all of these colors in yardage-I use them a lot in quilts. So while I din't have anything specific in mind at the moment, they would definitely be used in a quilt

Oh wow I am so crossing my fingers on this one. Love those fabrics. I picked up a pattern on a shop hop this past weekend for a purse. I would use some of the solids along with a bright bold pattern for it.

I LOVE grey fabric and wich I couild find it more easily where I live. I think I'd want to do a quilt with just a few squares of vibrant colors thrown in, maybe with my HR Enchino fabric I've been hording
My husband is a cinematographer, and I would make him a "film strip" quilt, complete with the old-fashioned film cameras, director's chair, and film-strip motifs. He would love it!
I think I'd just use these on their own to play with solids.

love this! I picked the silent film jelly roll in the last giveaway and it has been on my mind to make a nice grey/black infused quilt for our bedroom (a nice throw or maybe if im brave something massive for the bed)
Awesome collection. I am working on and Amish design quilt. These fabrics would be perfect for many Amish patterns.
Am loving the solids lately and I have two teenage boys so I would LOVE to make something for them with this fabric. They aren't really into the colorful flowery stuff that I ussually buy :)

I have alot of ideas, but for starters I would make the "comic book quilt" I saw on fat quarterly!
Ohhh those are beautiful... I would make the Facade quilt with them and add just a splash of Red to the mix.

Oh What an unusual monochromatic bundle - I would have to think carefully as to the best pattern but maybe a log cabin or there is a pattern on Moda Bakeshop called film strip maybe that would be a way to go. Definitly something bold and graphic would work well. Thank you.

I remember seeing a black and white quilt in a Crate and Barrel catalog about 10 years ago and thinking it was a black and white photo, but it wasn't. Just lots of black and white prints and solids.

I like to make the small format quilts for aaqi.org to auction off. I can see using this pre-cut in a monochromatic quilt(let).
I'm thinking log cabin with maybe a pop of red or yellow in the center.
I would use the jelly roll to make one of the 1600" strip quilts. Ideas for the others would come fast and furious.

Genius, RK! I love their oatmeal pre-cuts because they are the perfect blend of light neutrals nd now this! Gorgeous! Medium Gray is my go-to gray solid. This little collection will complement so many prints. I think I would pick one print and blend it with all the colors of Silent Cinema to make a super mod quilt. By the way, the name is perfect, too. Thanks!

I would make a quilt for my bed based on the beautiful black, white, and grey ancient mosaics I saw on a trip to Italy.
I would use them with some greens and yellows to make a wall hanging for our bedroom!
These would make a stunning logcabin quilt with rainbow colors on the light side of the cabin.

These are so inspiring. I would probably opt to mix them with a print or two or three. I can't remember the name of the fabric I'm thinking of but it's one that mixes some reds and corals with grey, black and cream. I thought of it immediately as soon as I saw this silent film grouping of kona solids. Wouldn't this be lovely?!!

Love these - I would use them on their own for a couch throw (we have black couches on a bold red feature wall).
I think I would make a quilt using a star block and adding one bright ( maybe yellow?) to add some zing.

I've already eyed the silent film line...love it because of the greys. I want to use greys/corals for the guest room...a bed runner might be just the thing for precuts!

I love all the greys that are out this year. I would use them to accent other colors, little borders, perfect binding, centers for squares.

I would consider making a tonal quilt, I've seen some stunning black and white quilts, they really are show stoppers! But since I rarely have the time for such a large project, perhaps pillows with some sort of quilty pattern to show off the tones. And maybe one shot of colour. Red seems to be the obvious but perhaps a turquoise like Kona lagoon!
Or what about a reverse applique like the ones Dan Rouse have created?

Oh I love this line! I could easily pair these solids with a fun large print for a quilt, but I also love the idea of using these to make a ton of hexagons. Ooh, or what about film strip blocks? That would be fun.

I'd make a quilt, but not sure of which pattern. But, I'd pair this with bright vivid colors. So, if I chose log cabin, these would be one side of the block, and the bright colors would be the other side. Or, I'd make two sets of blocks--one in the brights, and one in this, and alternate them. In my mind, it looks fabulous!

Well Julie I'll honestly say I am not positive what I'd do. I do know I really want to do a black and white quilt with red very much. But I might be inspired by this to do something totally different.
Pairing the silent film solids with some other bright solids would make a great quilt or maybe even a tote.

EXCELLENT name. I bought some loud Hawaiian fabric with hula girls, palm trees and such when we went to the Big Island last month. Perhaps the Silent film pieces would help me create a quilt to remember the trip by without looking like I bought it off a clothesline hanging in the parking lot of an old gas station.

NO WAY! I picked the Silent Film jelly roll as my fav offered by the FQS in your other giveaway! I would be in heaven with all of these precuts!!! The first thing I would make is a pleated pillow with the jelly roll and then I would make a quilt with the rest. I think a strip quilt, with black to white gradiation....(i think)...maybe some raw edge applique on top in Opposite colours...silhouettes of birds maybe and a tree.

First they would be taken apart, and then they would be stretched out over, stacked amongst, and sorted between fabric in my stash. And on the first snow day, I'd be inspired to cut and piece!

Last weekend I took a class with Kaffe Fassett on the Bordered Diamond quilt. I would definitely pair these with his beautiful huge flowers - what an impact!
I'd use them in a graphic bag and in mod fabric jewelry. What a great prize!
