1. Less photos... or less pressure on myself to have a photo of everything. If I have a photo I'll post it... but if I forget to take a photo of new fabric I'm not gonna stress myself over finding the fabric and taking a photo before posting.
2. When possible I'll list item by item where I used the fabric but I won't hold myself to listing the details.
3. No goals and no pressure. Last year I had personal goals for the year and for some weeks and it lead to pressure... and not the good kind. So this year each week will be whatever it will be.

4. I posted every Sunday last year through week 33 and then posting got a bit wonky. I'm gonna do my best to post each Sunday this year... I think items 1-3 from above will make that easier.
If you don't know all about "Sunday Stash" you aren't alone. To fill everyone in Judy just did a post on it.

I didn't want to make a post with no photos at all... so here is photo of the first quilted new label from the new spoonflower labels I just ordered. This is also officially my first finished quilt of 2011 as I finished the binding last night. The amazingly talented Angela did the quilting. I wish I could show you the front of the quilt but that will have to wait a bit as it is being published.

-0- in? That's no way to start the new year.....
HappiestDays ahead with your new rules! I definitely vote that quilting should be a stress free zone!!!!
I don't blame you one bit about changing your stash report guidelines Julie. Stress and pressure can take something very enjoyable and turn it into a love/hate situation fast.
I really like your labels.
Happy New Year.
I don't keep track of my fabric purchases, I figure that ignorance is bliss :D
I enjoy reading your reports though, but I agree that you shouldn't stress yourself out!
Julie - still thinking of you and your family and your nephew. Praying 2011 is a bright and happy year for you all!
I am so glad you are going to continue to do your Stash reports. I look forward to them & they motivate me to do a better job of keeping track of my stash & using it.
Best of luck in 2011.
Love the new rules Julie, like Natalie said quilting should be stress free and anything that helps it stay that way is a very good thing. You did inspire me to keep track of my ins and outs this year, I had more of both! Sending lots of positive thoughts for the new year.
No worries kiddo...even once a month would be dandy...you could keep a running draft on blogger and post it the last Sunday of the month.
How's little E doing?:)
I'm glad your still doing this. I love to read about what you are working on.
I think of you and your cute nephew often, I pray that all will be okay with him and your family.
Melissa
Your new label looks fantastic. I like your new stash report labels. that seems to be everyones goal this year - simplify! I'm with you, this stuff should not be the stress in our lives.
Hope things are looking up in california. Happy 2011 to you!
Your labels turned out so nice! Can't wait to see your new quilt. Angela is an amazing quilter!
Sounds like you have a good plan there, sweetie. No stress, more fun! Thinking about you and yours every day! xo
