sunday stash..wk31

i'm home!!
this week's report includes my visit to the la fabric district... eek!
& i've been busy unpacking... and cleaning {inspired by vanessa's post }
so not too much sewing yet... but i'll get back in the swing of things!

one yard of brown kona crush for this quilt...

2.5 yards of castle peeps!
{i forgot to take a photo before cutting it all up!}
stay tuned for castle peeps summer camp!

2.5 yards of anna maria horner's stacked print

3 yards total of echino prints

this one is coated!

10.5 yards of neptune

3 yards of kona chartreuse to go with 3 remix charm packs
for karrielyne's charm pack quilt a long
{ remix charm packs will be available in shops in sept! }

and lots & lots of pure charm packs arrived
for the philadelphia modern quilt guild's project pure!
{ so they aren't counted in the stash report }
{ once everyone in the guild signs up... i'll list the rest of them for sale in the shop! }

1.94 in kona chartreuse cut for charm pack quilt a long
 1.3yards in remix charms

karrielyne tells you to draw a line... and sew 1/4" away on either side...
and i do that sometimes... but i also use this ruler..
it's 1/2" wide... & you line up the center line on the points of your square...
draw on either side.. and then sew directly on those lines!

i got all my half square triangles done last night...
now i need to press & trim them!
the green is going to make for one very bright quilt!!!

and.. nothing in or out for my bee blocks.. but the last of them arrived!!
so now i can get started on cutting sashing & putting it all together!

so this week
24.84 in
3.24 out

YTD totals
purchased: 524.03 yds
busted: 352.19 yds
net: -171.84 yds

how did you do?
check out how everyone else is doing...

I love my little ruler like that for HSTs....I only use that every time!

So super productive- but would we really expect anything less? heheh!

What is that ruler called and where can I get one?! I need one of those!

I can't wait to see all that Neptuney goodness put together :)

*squeaks* You're remix quilt is gonna be super cute! I really love that green!

Is that a hose holding down your quilt? LOL! Don't you just love how the wind cooperates sometimes? ;)

Now I know what to do with those 1/2" rulers. I just ran to JoAnn's & got one - Thanks - that makes all of these HST so much easier.

Can't wait to see your Neptune quilt come together.

Don't know what I want to snatch more...the remix or the anna maria horner...wouldn't even think of the Neptune, I know you'd chase me like mad! (Good week, nothing in...or out but maybe a quilt top next week if I finish the darn pieced border today)

Great fabrics...I really want to start keeping track of the ins and outs of my question...does it count as "Out" if you finish a quilt top...even if you're going to keep it for yourself?

I've been doing the same thing with my 1/2 square triangles, using a 1/2" ruler and sewing on the line, instead of sewing 1/4" away from a line in the middle. I'm much, much happier with the results.

Oh such beautiful stuff! I do hope you decide to sell some of that Neptune! ;)

This stash report was not nearly what I expected it to be! Brainstorming on what to do with that beautiful set of Pure.

Wow! 10.5 yards of Neptune. I can't wait to see what you do with it! I love that little ruler...with the amount of HSTs I'll be sewing soon I am definitely getting one.

I have that awesome little half inch ruler and use it the exact same way! Gotta love a little tool that can make a job a LOT easier!

And the fabric? YUM!
