I've got something fun to share with you today, check out this Stereo Quilt I made using Tula Pink's newest fabric line, Eden. I also used fabrics from Tula Pink's True Colors collection.
After some plotting and planning the layout and where I wanted each block to go, I started chain piecing.
There was a lot of fussy cutting that happened to make this quilt.
And there was even more fussy cutting. If you choose to make a Stereo quilt like this, you'll probably be best cutting from yardage or fat quarters rather than using the 10" squares that are the fabric requirements to make Stereo.
Perfect points matching up makes me happy.
The finished quilt top:
I used Tula Pink's Free Fall to back the quilt. Normally, I don't pre-wash my fabrics. Since this was one big piece of red fabric, I did pre-wash with Soak before I sent it off to be quilted.
I'm going to bind it in the grey lazy stripe from Tula Pink's True Colors collection.
Here it is as soon as it came home from the quilting spa, after Angela Walters worked her magic on it:
Tula Pink Free Fall was a perfect choice for the back.

Want to make a lap size Stereo like mine? Here is what you will need. Please note that this is more than the 65 - 10" Squares listed on the pattern because of the creative fabric placement. I suggest getting FQs, 1/3 Yard cuts or 1/2 Yards cuts to do fussy cutting if you desire.

«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 600 of 649 Newer› Newest»I want to make a Northern Lights quilt with this line! Love the Stereo pattern too.
I really am a crazy Tula Pink fan. I like your pattern a lot but I am old and have trouble with how busy all the modern quilts are. I would add some solids for my eyes to rest. Maybe some Kaffe Shot Cottons. It's just a personal age thing. I want to see each beautiful piece of her fabric.
I would try to make the stereo quilt. I need a new pattern!!!
I love the stereo pattern
I like your quilt so much--pattern, colors, fussy cutting, quilting, backing--that I'd use the bundle to make a very similar one, and keep it for my very own!
Hi, my next project is a Park Bench quilt, wether I win this Giveaway or not.
Anne
Anne@tirsa.dk
I love this quilt and the colors are fantastic. They make me so happy. I would love to make this quilt!
These fabrics look great in Stereo but I think they would shine in Delight or Splash too.
My first thought was to try a Noodlehead bag, but I've never made a structured bag before and I couldn't bear to waste the fabric. I'd need to think long and hard about it!
Wow, I think I'd make a Splash quilt for my niece.
I don't know what I would make. I need to hold fabric and let it tell me where to go. I love your stereo AND your perfect points!
I would definitely make Stereo with the Eden bundle!
Love yours. Thanks for the chance.
I love your matching points! Really stunning. And this pattern in this fabric choice; beautiful! Thank you so much for the chance to win. I love the new tula pink designs.
I have been admiring this line and would love nothing more than to win your give away. I love what you did with stereo but honestly I think this fabric would be ideal for my first stab at EPP!
Its beautiful and I would have to try and copy your quilt.
This version of Stereo is absolutely stunning! I would probably shamelessly copy your version. Thanks so much for the generous giveaway.

Thx for the giveaway! Your quilt looks amazing! I think about using Eden to make a mini and combine it with some other Tula lines. Or maybe I will finally go ahead and make a pixi book kit for my daugher - but she loves butterflies... maybe she will change her mind and go for tigers instead when she sees EDEN ;-)
Your quilt is gorgeous! I think I'd try Science Fair with Eden. Thanks for the chance to win!
