purple is actually very under-represented in my stash for some reason. I feel like I've worked with a lot of purple in the past so maybe I used it without really noticing but I just find that hard to believe. How could I not notice when I need to go buy more fabric?
I think I need a glass of wine to sort this out...wait, maybe that's how! ugh

I wanted to join in the bottled rainbows quilt along and then realized, I am seriously lacking in orange, yellow, and purple (especially purple)! And I am normally drawn to softer/muted colors, but I am loving all of the bright colors I have been seeing lately and want to start collecting more staurated rainbow colors... and this giveaway would be perfect! Thank you for a chance to win!!
I usually buy the fabric I need for a project so I don't really have a stash. So it would have to be a little of everything.

I think the least represented are the purples and greys...but I'm beginning to see more projects with them and am liking them more and more.
I'm not really a pink person so I find myself trotting off to the fabric shop if ever I'm in a swap where my partner likes pink.
I recently organized my craft room and found out I don't have any reds :O

Under-represented... it would be brown... I have so many bright colors, but the browns are seemingly absent:)
I have such a hard time finding reds that I like. They're always either too dark or too light or too orange or something, and so I never buy any!

I'm just getting started sewing so I think all colors are underrepresented in my stash. If forced to pick, I would say pink since my daughter is in a princess stage and thinks everything should be pink.
I mace a red scrappy quilt about 2 years ago - I think I was turned off of reds for a bit after that as I noticed the other day I was sorely lacking!

The color that I feel I'm short of is blacks and black prints. I enjoy using some blacks to highlight other colors!

The most underrepresented colors are definitely green and yellow. I've got some oranges and lots of blues, but green and yellow, not so much. It's time to stock up, isn't it!

Wow, we all love you Julie...see how we all read your blog! 8-) Orange is my favorite color, too, but it is pretty well represented in my ever-growing stash. I would say that blue (with yellows and purples following closely) is the most neglected color in my stash. Poor blue is feeling blue....lol.

in my stash, it's purple, definitely. i adore purple, but it's really hard to find a real purple fabric! and it's not just in quilting cottons either - i recently decided that i should wear more purple, and it's hard to find purple apparel fabric too. i have lots of plums, aubergines, raspberries, violets and lavender, bur no real purples. maybe that's why i'm so in love with Melody Miller's new RSS - it has actual purple in it!

I don't have much of stash to notice that I one is under-represented. I think they could all use a little boost, but I did notice that I was craving grey...why? I have many colours but not enough black, I think black fabric in scrapquilts ist very beautiful.
There is a surprisingly small amount of apple green since that is one of my favourite colour. I'd love to add this rainbow to my collection.

If I had to hazard a guess, I would say that probably blue or red is most under-represented in my stash. But, I've never actually sorted it by color, either...

I have never thought about it. All of my stash is out of sight and not organized so I don't see what's missing.
PURPLE! I went to try and make something with purples and I had a total of 5 FQ's. That was it. I am wanting to make a bottled rainbow quilt out of scraps, well, I can't have scraps if I don't ever use that color, huh? I will have to go looking through my friends scraps I guess!

As strange as it is... black is the most underrepresented color in my stash.
Yellow is the least represented in my stash, but I don't mind. I would rather pump up the pink section of my stash because that's a colour I like but have little of at the moment.

I have almost no yellow in my stash except for a few brights that I use in combo with my extensive black and white collection. I have nothing against yellow, it just doesn't 'speak' to me.
i just participated in a rainbow swap and found that I only have 2 pieces of brown fabric!
it's orange for me too. hard to find the right shades, not too neon, overpowering oranges.
It's actually solids in general that are underrepresented... beyond that, whites/neutrals.
