I was quite excited when RK added slicker fabrics to the mix. The slicker fabric is 60" wide. There are so many possibilities of what to make with these including the placemats I made back in January.
So what is the giveaway? One yard of each of these two prints! Since this fabric sells for around $19-$20 a yard that is a rocking prize!

My favorite color is blue--- pretty much always has been, too. Maybe because it matches my eyes? Maybe because I am Pisces and blue is the color of the sea?.. :-) I think it's because blue is just such a c-a-l-m color to me... It makes me feel happy and relaxed... My favorite color is purple because as a child, I always admired my Grandma Betty's deep purple iris garden, and when I think of beauty, the first thing that comes to mind is those irises.

My favorite color is green. All shades of green, except for forest green - ugh! Why? It's so fresh. It tends to go with anything. It also reminds me of spring & summer.

I have a hard time picking just one color. But generally if I really had to pick I'd pick Blue.
So many fun possibilities with this slicker fabric!. I love green - mostly because it's found everywhere in nature in varying shades. :)
Blue because it is calm, restful and very, very pretty.
I love RED!
It's vibrant, powerful, love and life.
Plus, if you put some white into it it turns Pink :)

Mine is sky blue. I love how calm it is. My room is actually painted a very happy, peaceful sky blue right now, and I sigh in relief every time I walk in.

First, I love your blog and just bought three of your patterns to try out and have your book saved at Amazon.
Second, right now my favorite color Purple--a deep, rich, royal purple (aka 2009 Honda Fit Purple)...with accents of green. (I think I have trouble picking one since I'm an Opal birthstone (full of all shades) and have been infused with a general love for color!) :)
Pink! Pink with sparkles is even better. Flamingos are my favorite animal, so I think my LOVE of pink comes from that!
My favorite color is robins egg blue because it just calms me down looking at it, and I have a great dress in that exact color!

My colour preference depends on my mood. I never like orange.

All shades of lucious, royal, regal,pretty, yummy purple. Why??? My high school colors were purple and gold and I live in the land of the MN Vikings again purple and gold. And..purple was the favorite color of the only grandparent I ever knew.

Greens are my favorite color.....what doesn't go with green? Think green leaves of any shade against a beautiful blue sky or even a gray sky...looks great. Same for greens and any color in the garden. To me green is a great neutral color.

Most of my clothes have blue in them. The blue must not have yellow in it!! It is just a cool color and makes me feel cool--that is opposite of hot/warm.

I love fall colors, and tend to lean towards rusts, greens,yellows, burnt orange, brick red, and purple. If I'm sewing for grandkids, I love to work with brights, and happy colors. In that case, yellow is the favorite!

Orange. It started as a child. I'm not sure why, but I do love autumn. I remember as a child my aunt came for a family gathering and asked me what my favorite color was just so she could hear me say orange.
I love purple, rich bright purple not the washed out ones but the bright ones. I love purple because you can combine it with any colour and it looks good - even pink (sorry but it is my least favourite colour). Purple looks great with grey, black and white. It is a versatile colour and really funky too. So my favourite colour is purple.

Color can be one of those things that we just "do" and not think about.... Most of my life, my fav color was pink.... why? Because I was a girl, of course! And my 6th grade year I wore nothing but lavendar - shirts and pants! But now I am more likely to identify RED as my favorite color - but not an orangy red - definitely a blue-red.... and not just red - the whole spectrum from fuschia to hot pink to purple to cranberry - Those colors make me feel alive! They're happy, excited, vibrant alive colors! (I know you didn't need a dissertation about my favorite color - but I hadn't really stopped and thought about it before..... hm....)

I really love red, but my favourite colour has always been blue in all its shades. At the moment I'm particularly fond of turquoise and I'm slowly falling seriously in love with royal blue again. Why? I don't know, blue is just beautiful, calming, goes with almost anything and reminds me of water, the sky and sunny days. Whatever my mood, blue doesn't give me the blues. ;-) :-)

Yes, this is a great prize! I've been really wanting to make a raincoat for my daughter (and even have that amy butler pattern!) so this would be great.
As for me, my fav is purple. Since I was little. I drifted away and claimed loyalty to blue for awhile there, but now I've definitely gravitated back toward purple as #1 in my eyes.
