It's Sunday? Where did Saturday go? Oh I know where Saturday went... I spent the entire day sewing with my new toy! You have all asked so many questions and I promise I'll answer them all!
Quick Recap... so far I love the machine. The "sensor system" is amazing. So are many of the other features. Here is a list of what I got done yesterday...
1. Finished a new bag. {see below}
2. Finished 12 "Boxed In" blocks with Dr. Seuss {see below}
3. Finished piecing Elijah's twin quilt top {see last week's post}
4. Pieced Sixty 9" blocks for a new quilt
Not bad for one day!! Now on with the stash report... so I can get back to sewing! Oh and if you have sent me an e-mail recently, I will get back to you. My inbox is overflowing and I decided that I needed a weekend to focus on sewing and not e-mailing... so I'll be catching up on e-mail during the week. Thanks!!
IN
4 yards of home decor weight fabric from Ikea
I resisted the "Henna" print from Sandi Henderson for a while... but I finally jumped in and went for it. I also got a few other prints of hers.
One yard of Nicey Jane Laminate... I'm quickly getting addicted to laminated fabrics.
OUT
8 Yards out for Charity Sewing with the Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild.
I've also made some progress on this secret project I'm working on with a few friends... I'll be able to share more once we give it to the recipient.
1 yard for a new project
4.5 on a new quilt I can't show yet
Almost a yard on new pillows. I keep getting these urges to paint the entire house and re-cover this couch. Then I remind myself that I really don't want to tackle a project that big right now... and I make some pillows instead.
No more yardage to count out for this... but I got my Dr. Seuss "Boxed In" blocks done. The kits have sold out in the shop. You guys were fast! If I can make more I'll let you know.
...and some Echino fabric out for a new "yet to be named" bag. I'm testing a few things out and then hopefully soon I'll have a tutorial for you! It's a mix of coated and non-coated fabrics. I think I'm going to make it a bit smaller. The photo below is a few bags I've made recently to show you the scale.

A layer cake out on a new project with the Lazy Angle Ruler by Lazy Girl Designs. I'd show you more but I don't know what it's going to look like yet! (I do know I love this ruler!)
3.25 out of Betty Dear on a new project... I don't know what I think of it yet... I'll get back to you.
