Anyway, today is still when I've chosen to celebrate my birthday.
Yesterday I was reminded that I have the best friend a girl could ever dream of having. She's 3,000 miles away & doesn't forget my new birthday, sends an amazing card, and a book to help me cultivate my style. Now that's true friendship. Pannepacker, I love you.

Happy New Birthday :)
ReplyDeleteSo much fun in one post - what can be happier than smore making?! And your stack of fabrics are amazing. I'm jealous that you have all the new Kona solids, too. They look like great colors.
And Amazon is too funny!
Happy Birthday. Good old Amazon, always good for a laugh :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday sunshine! Love you, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteMom
My b-day is July 2, two days away from July 4, so most people have 4th of July plans that do not include an adult birthday party. So I have had to adjust and depending on which day of the week my birthday falls I started celebrating my birthday for an entire week! When I want to do something and then husband groans I remind him "It's my birthday week" and he just groans a little more and then does what I asked. lol
ReplyDeleteHappy new birthday! For my last birthday we were getting ready to move but I went to breakfast with my husband and youngest kiddo. It was a nice day. I hope you have fun playing with fabric!
ReplyDeleteFeliz Aniversário, estou adorando ter sido convidada para esta festa.Obrigada.tiacarminhapezzuto@gmail.com

ReplyDeletemy daughter and i have birthdays side by side. we have a big party for her and it's always a mystery if anyone will remember it's my birthday the next day.
Happy new birthday! S'mores and fabric, what a fabulous day especially if you get to spend time with important family and friends! Looking forward to seeing what you're up to with the Kona.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Birthday! I remember last year's post and thinking I completely understand why you decided to switch! Coincidentally, it also happened to be the first post I commented on to you! I hope you have a fantastic day! My birthday is June 13 and this year I am going to spend it quilting as much as possible to finish up my to-do list before I start packing for our move in July!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Birthday Julie! Love how Amazon recommended your own book! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteHappiest of birthdays! Have fun playing with fabric. :)
ReplyDeleteWell Happy New Birthday to you Julie take a laid back relaxing day with your fabric...
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I like to spend my birthday relaxing and quilting.
ReplyDeleteToday is my birthday! For reals! And I'm spending it with my daughter, eating and a little shopping! Happy Birthday to YOU! I love your blog! Debby
ReplyDeleteHappy New Birthday! And that is so funny about Amazon's recommendation for you!
ReplyDeleteHappy happy birthday Julie. Way to make some lemonade out of some birthday lemons.
ReplyDeleteMiss ya girlie!
Happy Birthday, Julie! What a great day you have planned!
ReplyDeleteAmazon is funny that way. I ordered a book from them last week & following the shipping notification email, I got another email suggesting I might like to purchase the same book!
Happy New Birthday! That's hilarious about Amazon - at least you know they aren't using your personal information for background checks, just for marketing. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappiest of days, and many returns of it!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your day will be just about perfect.
Happy bithday! Many members of my family have their birthday in the same month in midsummer (me too) when most people are away on holiday. At the time of my birthday I have usually eaten three birthday cakes in ten days with three more birthdays -and mine- to come within the next two weeks. During the last years the man of the house and I were on holiday on my birthday and spent it somewhere abroad. Nice.

ReplyDeleteAmazon recommended that I buy your book too! It was at the top the of the list. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Jules, my favorite birthday was my 30th. I was on a cruise and we snorkeled while in grand Cayman islands.
ReplyDeleteHappy 'Birthday'!
ReplyDeleteWell, Amazon must have gotten something right! I mean if you wrote it I sure do hope you love it! LOL They get one point for that right!!! ;)
Happy new Birthday! I've got that Alice in Wonderland song in my head--A Very Merry Unbirthday to you!
ReplyDeleteI was born on Nov. 27 which means that it often lands on Thanksgiving. My Gran always had a cake w a turkey on it. She thought it was cute. I thought it was stupid. I told mt husband 46 years ago to never give me a cake w a turkey. So we are still married w/o turkey cakes.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! What an exciting year you have had! I turned 48 this year very tragic but the hubby and kids bout me the newest iPad, it was great fun! I hope you have a happy one.
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy, happy birthday to you. It certainly sounds like you have a wonderful birthday plan. ~Kelly

I definitely understand changing your birthday. I think your date is worse than mine. I'm on December 20th and the last 63 years have been a real pain (I'm just a little older than you). When I was a kid they always said, "I'm giving you a bigger present since it is for your birthday and Christmas." Lies, all lies! I want a birthday when people aren't focused on another holiday, especially when it's God's birthday. You have inspired me. I think I'm going to celebrate on June 20th and I pity the family member who doesn't go along with it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day!
ReplyDeleteOoohhh... another June birthday girl! I hope it turned out great. Mine is coming up on the 22nd. Love this month!
