kindergarten quilt is done.
picnic {basket case} is done.
and metro... is well on the way!!
my last update on this quilt was back on august 13th
and this is where i was...
so a few weeks later...
blocks together... and two of three borders on...
so why isn't the last border on? because as i was getting it all ready...
i realized i was out of black thread... the black thread i need to quilt this with...
so here it sits... on the floor... backing laying over the frame...
and it'll sit there and wait.. till saturday
cause after work tonight i'll go drop off basket case
and get some more black thread...
and then the marathon to quilt & bind it on saturday will happen
for a safe sunday delivery!!
wish me luck..
:-)
I love that quilt pattern. I have seen this fabric made up into other quilts and just wasn't that crazy about it, but I just love what you have done with it, perfect for this quilt. What is the pattern name?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! I'm not usually much of a fan of black but this is stunning! :0)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with not getting any blisters or bloody pricks on your fingers as you stitch down that binding! Speed binding can be dangerous :)
