Over the next few days I'll be posting cutting tutorials for the Hex N More.
Full Color Directions are also included with each Hex N More Ruler.
I'm going to start with the 60° Triangle. It is the easiest shape to cut and you have little to no waste when cutting them. The Hex N More can cut four sizes of 60° Triangles. The measurements are from the base of the triangle to the tip, not along one side.
Four Sizes - 1", 2", 3", 4"
With today's tutorial I'm demonstrating how to cut a 3" Finished Size 60° Triangle.
1. Start with a 3 1/2" x width of fabric strip.
2. Place ruler as shown aligning the top of fabric strip with the solid horizontal 3 1/2" triangle line.
3. Cut along both edges of ruler to trim strip.
4. Rotate ruler 180° and align ruler with cut edge to continue cutting triangles along the strip.

ReplyDeleteThanks Julie. I've wanted to buy the 60 degree ruler for awhile. I'm wondering now if your ruler can do everything the 60 degree ruler could have or would there still be a need to buy that other as well?
