  5. I am a blogger. I have to say that I would probably blow most of that on fabric! I should be practical and pick up a tool or two, but after that I would get some of the great basics from Central Park and Sunkissed. There are so many gorgeous fabrics in those lines! But so many others call to me...yes, fabric speaks to me. Doesn't it speak to everyone?

  13. BLOGGER :)
So many choices! I'd spend it on fabric (of course) but also some books/magazines and patterns.
I'm leaving the workplace to be a SAHM so my budget for fabric is pretty much non existent! And I have yet to make my first quilt and I've been dying to do so! A quilt kit would be perfect for this!
This is an outstanding giveaway! Thank you so much for the opportunity!

  18. I'm a blogger and I would probably drool for a while before deciding what to buy. Maybe I'd treat myself to fabric for a new project or two (because we all know quilters need MORE projects) or maybe I'd be good and choose some patterns to use the fabric I already have. Or maybe a little of both... How soon would I have to show progress? :) Thanks for a chance to win such an astounding prize!

    ReplyDelete

  20. I'm a blogger. Oh man, I could buy some great stuff with $100. I current have way more than that just sitting in my shopping cart there just waiting for me to pull the trigger. I'd have to get some of the new Art Gallery fabrics, Bazaar Style. Of course some kona cotton solids to build up the stash. And of course, I'd have to browse the sale section to build up my stash with some too-good-to-pass-up fabrics.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I am not a blogger BUT am hoping to remedy that this year !!!!
I have to get that ruler then probably a pattern or two and the rest would no dout go to fabric. I have seven children and the fabric budget at the moment is almost nonexistant so this would be sooooo sweet !!!!!!

  25. I'm a blogger and I would buy some Patty Young Sanctuary and some solids too. Great giveaway thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm a blogger... and I'd buy fabric... Mint Scarborough Fair and Celestial Dreams yardage. Oh and there are some Christmas fabrics that I'm waiting to be released too so if the gift certificate doesn't have to be used all at once, I might save some for that.

    ReplyDelete

  30. I'm a blogger. That ruler looks really nifty, so I'd probably buy that, possibly the twister rulers, and then oodles of fabric - precuts in a variety of sizes. :-).

    ReplyDelete
  31. Non - blogger - however I am sincerely considering it.

What would I get . . . the question should be what wouldn't I get. I know that once I would start picking out items, I wouldn't stop. First of all I would probably start with finding more purple fabric to complete my Boo Davis Owl Quilt that my son is giving his Cross Country Coach as a way to say thanks after his senior season.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm a blogger, just not always a very diligent one. :)

I think I'd get the Central Park Sudoku kit, an Oliver + S book or pattern, a fun new ruler, and whatever's left would go to fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am technically a blogger - just not about crafty sewing stuff. I would buy lots of fabric - central park and sancutuary come to mind and then a slew of patterns too.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Blogger. I would stock up on Kona Solids and get a highly coveted Kona Color Card.

Great giveaway! Thank you so much!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Blogger.

I tend to post pictures of most of my quilting/sewing projects; so, this should not be a problem unless there is a deadline to use up the products I purchased. I didn't see one. Ha!

Anyway, at the moment, I probably would purchase a lot of "basics" to fill out future quilting projects. On the other hand, I might go for a few notions or I might choose a quilting project and then buy fabric specifically for it. It all depends upon the mood I'm in. Ha!

Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Non-blogger here.

Mostly I would buy fabric - there are so many new collections I want/need. *S*

Notions would *maybe* be a part of it.

I'd buy the fabric to make a queen sized quilt. Our bedroom in our "new to us" house is a shade of green and I'm thinking Lilac Hill would match beautifully.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm a blogger but not a quilt blogger. Quilting is just something I obsess about but my actual blog is about breast cancer (not as fun as a quilting blog).

    What a CRAZY AWESOME giveaway!

I would buy some of that Michael Miller crown fabric in both black and white and then a bunch of other black and white fabrics to coordinate with it. I'd make a quilt for my niece, who I have always called "Princess". Maybe I'd configure it all into a "Princess and the Pea" quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm a blogger, and it would all go to fabric. I need more boy fabric - way too many friends are having boys, and I have way too much girl fabric. That much fabric would make me very, very happy.

    ReplyDelete
  47. ooooh! Great giveaway Julie! Let's see....I've been wanting to buy some Sunkissed, Ready Set Go, the new honeycomb Schnibbles pattern, and I can always use more dots! :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Blogger. I would buy a lot of of Moda fabric as they have such a good selection on layer cakes and jelly roles. I have never used either so this would be a nice challange.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'm a blogger. My kitchen stools really need some slipcovers so I would get fabric for that project.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Blogger. Perhaps I'd get Wanna Be a Cowboy 10" squares. Very well might change my mind, tho... so hard to choose! :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Blogger -
With $100 at Fat Quarter Shop I would get as much of the following as possible.
-the new ruler you used in your patterns
-your twisty/spiral pattern (can't remember the name of it)
    -Impressions fabric by Ty Pennington
    -Sherbet Pips Layer Cake
Depending upon how much yardage I got of Ty's fabric I might be done there but if I had extra $$ I would use it to get some Bella Solids.
    Thanks for the great giveaway!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'm a Blogger...
Fabric would be a the top of my list. Especially would love to try some Kona solids. I've got design ideas I want to try... just need the "right" fabric. ;o)

    ReplyDelete
  54. blogger.
first i'll buy some kona charcoal for my 'single girl quilt' ...and maybe even the backing (but on the other hand...i should wait for the 'sherbet pips' yardage...we'll see).
then i have many bits and bobs in my fqs shopping card right now: 'baby' by michael miller, the 'tailor made' measure tape fabrics, 'kate & nate' flannel for my first self made pj pants - and some hullabaloo precuts!! (oh, and have you seen the new j. caroline ribbon with the scissors? so cute!).

    ReplyDelete
  55. Blogger
To start - I would do a huge happy dance :)

Then I really would get the lazy ruler and probably your unwind or carnival pattern because I want to learn to use this neat tool.

Then I would get the following:

    Sherbet pips layer cake
    Sunkissed gingham prints

And then some solids to go with the quilts I've been working on lately.

    ReplyDelete
  56. NON-BLOGGER

I would buy your Fast Forward Pattern and the fabric I will need :) But don't ask me yet which fabric... This decision will take a while ;)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Non-Blogger. I would buy a fatquarter pack for the SuperNova quilt along and some solids if I have enough! Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Non-blogger, but LOVE reading quilt blogs.

I'd have to put some of the new Primitive Muslins from Lisa Bongean in my cart, along with a bunch of pre-cuts, and some Toasty by Jo Morton looks yummy or maybe just blow the whole thing on a quilt kit. With so many to choose from it wouldn't be hard to pick; I have my eye on Camille's It Takes Two quilt kit (and backing) which is on sale. Such a cute quilt for Christmas giving. Thanks for the chance to add to my stash!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm a blogger.
I actually have a wish list cart with Fat Quarterly right now! I've had my eye on Amanda Murphy's Swiss chocolate lines for awhile now. I'd make a quilt with those fabrics.

    ReplyDelete
  61. non-blogger (but avid shopper) here.

I'd buy two of your new patterns (Carnivale and Hugs and Kisses), the lazy angle ruler, and as many jelly rolls as possible. Currently it's the Lily & Will jelly rolls in gender neutral colors for baby quilts, as well as City Weekend, Just Wing it, and Modern Workshop.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I am a blogger... I would buy a bunch of fabric :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. BLOGGER

Your patterns look so pretty sitting there in a row!

I would get some Central Park and make a quilt!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'm a blogger! And I could use as much Parisville and polka dots I can get my hands on! I have quite a few baby quilts coming up and I think polka dots would be perfect since some babies (whether they're boys or girls) are being kept a mystery! :) Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Non-blogger. I would buy the Hugs and Kisses pattern and the Nancy Fun Flowers FQ bundle :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. Non blogger but I am going to start soon. Not sure what my subject will be but anyhoo, What would I buy if I had $100 to spend at Fat Quarter Shop....I think I could, well FABRIC! and lots of it!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I'm a blogger and I would use the $100 to buy solids ... that's my challenge this year, to purchase more (not really that difficult) and to use more solids in quilts, bags and aprons.

    ReplyDelete
  68. NON-Blogger: I would for sure get some Sherbet Pips. LOVE. IT.

I think Pips would make a lovely quilt for my two month old. I would also have to find a pattern to use the Pips on.

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I’m a blogger. It may be a little selfish, but I'd use it to get the fabric and pattern to finally make myself a quilt for our bed. I keep giving away the quilts I make.

But I can't be more specific than that, there’s soooo much to choose from, pattern wise. It'd take a lot of contemplation (but I'm so willing to do it soon)

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm a blogger. I'd definitely buy some Aviary 2 when it comes out later this month. I'm so excited about that woodgrain!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'm a blogger...and I would buy some kona solids. I haven't jumped on that bandwagon yet, but I'm loving the look of quilts made with solids. I'd probably buy a few patterns because I'm a sucker for patterns and I love adding them to my pattern binder. I'd also buy some sort of precuts - probably a layer cake or a jelly roll. LOve those!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  80. Lapsed blogger. I don't post as much as I'd like to, but I write lots of posts in my head. I would buy the ready, set, go fat quarter bundle (yay!) and I kind of like the look of that ruler. Boy, I'd still have $ leftover after that. I'm sure I could find something :) I think I might get Melissa Averinos' "Small Stash sewing" or maybe I'd have to buy some coordinating solid fabrics.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I am a blogger wannabe - someday maybe but for now have to embrace my non-blogger status. I would build my stash of solids and a couple of your new patterns :) Any possibility they could give away more time in my day too so I could get some quilt projects completed??

    ReplyDelete

I am going on 9 months of having a quilting blogging and am just loving having a place to share my creative whims :) (That and my husband was getting tired of me hijacking the family blog with pictures of quilts :)

As to what I would buy, Oh my goodness, I would be in heaven!! I would probably buy some baby prints (hopefully by then I would know if #5 on the way was a boy or girl). and I would love one of those lazy angle rulers, they seem so cool!! I could totally use some more solids in my stash, they are next to non-existent. I would then love to score some Innocent Crush!! I have had that on my wish list for some time :)

  118. I'm a non-blogger; but just recently chatted with a girlfriend about becoming bloggers together. Since she is a physician and I'm finishing up a Ph.D., we talked about calling ourselves: "Docs Who Quilt" or something else equally fun.

Anywho, what would I do with $100 from FQS? Buy the Lazy Angle Ruler along with your Hugs and Kisses quilt pattern. I've been eyeing it for some time. I would also like to purchase enough backing material to finish several heirloom quilt tops that my grandmother recently gave me (all were constructed by either my own Mamaw or her mother-in-law, my Mama Jule).

Come on TRNG! I'm counting on you! :)

Quilting is fun but a bit expensive especially where I am just getting started so I would by some of the basics like rulers, a few different sizes and I really want to get the wedge looking one (sorry I don't know technical terms) and of course I would want to get some fabrics I love bright colored fabric (I don't know any line names in specific) I would like to get some patterns to try out as well and some more thread. All of that would probably burn through $100 pretty fast if I won.
