ReplyDeleteMy hub's cousin's having a baby in July and the shower is in May so I have to hustle with the quilt!
He looks ready to be a big brother and so huggable! Best wishes to your sil and doesn't the aunt to be deserve a quilt too!

ReplyDeletehow fun to be making a girl quilt....my sister in law had another boy and my sister is havinga boy too....so all boy quilts in my house.
now don't go spilling them too much, but then again, what are aunts for?!?!
Godspeed to a simple, uncomplicated, healthy delivery for mama and baby! :) (I can relate to that icky 30+ hours...ours was 28 1/2, and ended in unplanned c/s)... :P

ReplyDeleteWell, they say the second one is much faster. My sister's first was about 20 hrs and the second was 2hrs from water break to baby. It was almost too fast!

ReplyDeleteWell we can only hope she is only 2 weeks away and that things will go simply. If the Dr. and the hospital don't get me actually scheduled soon for my surgery I am not so sure things will be simple.

Congrats Auntie Julie! I love being an Aunt- my oldest nephew is 23 and graduating from college next month--it seems like yesterday when he was 4 and hanging out with me at my college! They are so fun so enjoy it always.
