you'd think being stuck inside all week
that i'd be productive.
but it just wasn't so.
i got most of the blocks cut for my nephew's new quilt.
for his 'big boy" bed
but that was it.
good news is i didn't add to the stash this week.
& hopefully the shop update will go well tomorrow & you can all be a part in making my stash a bit lighter! ;-)
since i'd hate to leave you with nothing to see.
here is a photo of the birdie sling i made for my SIL when i was in cali... she cut all the pieces & i put it together for her... we modified the pockets so that they are the perfect size for sippy cups & diapers... since very soon she'll have a new baby around.

so this week
zero in again
3.33 out
YTD totals
purchased: 160.57 yds
busted: 39.86 yds
net: -120.71 yds
and it's off the computer for me.
i'm gonna get some sewing done.
i mean it!!
cute bag! she'll love it!
ReplyDeleteme too...off to sew that is. I have some Kaffe swap blocks I need to finish so they can wing their way to Paris at the end of the month. Happy Valentine's day Julie
ReplyDeleteNo stash enhancement? Nada? Wow! I'm proud of you! The bag is adorable.
ReplyDeleteVery cool bag for hauling all that baby stuff!
ReplyDeleteSometimes the machine just needs a rest.....
ReplyDeletegreat sling!
Lovely Birdie sling. It's a beauty!
ReplyDeleteI love the Birdie Sling! I've made two of them but it's been almost a year and definitely time for another!
ReplyDeleteI had a bad experience making an amy butler bag a while ago (the weekender bag class at CQW- I broke 3 needles and the instructor who I can't remember her name at this time also broke a few needles trying to help me). Maybe its time to give one of her patterns a try again because that bag is so cute. I can't wait to see the "big boy" quilt :) Christine
ReplyDeleteadorable bag! I'm a big sucker for those Amy Butler polka dots
