what is wrong with this picture?

can you see what is wrong?

{and it isn't that the bottom row is missing or the bottom sashing isn't attached yet}

  1. Are all of the blocks supposed to be laid out the same way? Or is there a pattern that I'm missing for the "differentness"?

Let me add to that comment that I'm certainly no expert...I just approached it like a "find the differences" puzzle! :)

  3. The flower portion of the blocks isn't consistent? Are they all supposed to be the same or was the difference intentional?

Also one of the top baskets is pieced from more than one fabric and the rest are all from just one fabric.

Now the question is, do you have to go back what is wrong in the picture??

    (Hope you're feeling better)

  5. looks like a couple of the smaller pink triangles are pieced wrong (in the big section, middle of the quilt)...but I really had to search to notice that.

  6. i think the asymmetric look is really great.

are you going to tear pick the seam and redo it?

  8. I'm with Rachel, not that noticeable...but I'm a prefectionist and I'd have to "fix" it!

  9. Some of your triangles are off?
I'm not sure if the designed called for it but if it was something that I knew was off... I would HAVE to fix it. My eye would be drawn to it everytime I looked at it and it would drive me crazy. If it doesn't but you then leave it alone and enjoy the process.

  11. The "top' HSTs in the green basket on the left side are in the wrong position..... I think I'd probably take it apart and fix it..... not much bothers me... but I think this would.

  13. it took a while, but because I was really looking for an "error" - the pink basket with blue floweres (centre left upper) seems to have some charming woniness to it! Love it! Leave it and go!

  14. I think you need to step away from your machine and get some more rest. You would never have done the very center of a quilt wrong when you are feeling ok. I am sorry for yet another set back.

  16. I had to really hunt, it was like working out a puzzle...is it the two pink half square triangles in the center? Just turned around. Shouldn't be too hard to fix. I do that stuff all the time. Love your colors...so pretty!

  22. its the pink basket.....I see it now....lol - but I didn't see it the first time so it really isn't obvious unless you really hunt it down :o)

  23. Just name it "Basket Case" and everyone will think your mistakes are intentional. Turn this into a design opportunity, or as grandma used to say, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.":)

  24. according to all the commenters this thing has so many mistakes you should just chuck it, put it in a box, put my address on the top and send it away to me. i'll love it and take care of it. lol

  25. I see the problem, but I am with Rachel, just finish it. Not sure it would be worth it to fix.

  27. Did you know that I heard that the amish purposely put a mistake in every quilt. I think it looks good and would continue but you have to do whatever will make you happy only you know whether it will bother you or not. I have a quilt I started and put the blocks on my design wall and only then did I see a couple of the blocks are wrong. Still Have not decided what to do. So I moved on and will go back to it later. I think that it sometimes is added personality but sometimes you just have to go back and fix it decide what will make you happy.
