well i have one of the 3 quilts done!!

i still have 2 to go {by mondayish}


but back to this one...

i decided to do pebble quilting
you know.. like this...


do you know that it takes forever??
i spent more time quilting this bad boy than piecing it!

i was inspired by alissa's blog, flickr and other people...

and

i went denser.. big mistake in time management.


amanda jean posted about used 18 bobbins
which i thought was crazy... till i used 18..
on a 50x50 quilt!! {hers was bigger}

that shrunk of 46x46 after washing..

but

it was worth it after washing...

i even took the time to use my scraps on the back to add a coin strip.. and this was where i incorporated my label..


so in the end i love this little one... but boy was it a lot more work than i thought it was gonna be!!

she is safely at the shop getting ready for the oaks, pa show... the shop will be selling kits at the show... if you are interested e-mail me... if they don't sell out at the show they will be available in store and mail order after it!
