Fall 2013 Quilt Market - Recap #3 - The booths & more!

Today is my 3rd & final recap post for Fall 2013 Quilt Market. Better late than never!! ;-)

My Disco quilt made out of botanics fabrics in the Robert Kaufman booth.

Here is the entire botanics fabrics booth in the Robert Kaufman area.

Carolyn Friedlander had her own booth right next door to feature her new fabric line botanics & her new patterns. I love this wall of color that she created.

...and here is the adorable Carolyn Friedlander herself!

Two of my giggles quilts were in the Kona booth that the Robert Kaufman team created. The floor was also a giant version of giggles. Of course I forgot to snap a photo where you can really see it.

Night Sky in Kona Solids.

Here I am hanging out with my quilts!

Ann Kelle added even more prints to her Remix line!

I just adore Kelle. She is as sweet as her fabric.

This Polaroid quilt was too cute!!

And so was this tent!!

The adorable Pixelated Heart is a free pattern available on Robert Kaufman's website.

I made a baby size Disco quilt with Dear Stella's confetti dots. You can see it peeking out on the middle shelf.

You can see more photos of the quilt on Dear Stella's blog.

Daybreak in Lola by Dear Stella. You can also see one block of White Stars also made from Lola in the top left. It is from my book Skip the Borders. More photos can be seen on Dear Stella's blog.

I also spotted Rachel Griffith's Reverie quilt in the Dear Stella booth.

Here is Rachel Griffith herself signing copies of Quilts Made with Love.

It was fun to listen to her chat all afternoon in her southern accent!

Here is Rachel Griffith with Vanessa of V&Co. The cover quilt of Quilts Made with Love is made from Vanessa's first fabric line, Simply Color. I have a soft spot for this quilt!

It was fun for us to catch up with Kate Spain!

I LOVE this new label fabric from Sweetwater. So many ideas...

Rock Candy and Seaside were on display in the United Notions booth.

I did a demo of the Sidekick Ruler in the United Notions booth. You can see Giggles made from Happy Go Lucky by Bonnie & Camille in front of me on the table.

Vanessa of V&Co had a great booth to show off her new patterns & new fabric line called Color me Happy.

I think the giant sewing machine quilt is my favorite!

Angela Walters had a booth for her new fabric line Drift.

I spotted Lotus in the Hoffman Fabrics booth.

I also spotted Wonton in the Hoffman Fabrics booth.

I rarely remember to step back & take a photo of the show floor as a whole!

Heather Bailey's award winning booth.

Hanging out with Angela Walters again! We matched on day #2 without having planned it!

I finally got to meet Caroline of Sew Caroline!

The only photo of KarrieLyne + Me + Rachel ....got photobombed by Alexia!

Day #2 = More Sidekick demos!

I was SO excited when we were finally allowed to sit on the Settee!!! (It had a sign on it for over a month saying no sitting allowed!)

Natalie of Beyond the Reef

Michael Miller fabrics introduced some GLITZ!

I like the gold dots on the aqua the best.

There are only two photo of me from the last day. This one that Art Gallery snapped of Angela & I chatting about wedding things...

...and then this one during take-down of me almost getting shipped home in a crate!

I hope you have enjoyed all of my Quilt Market recaps!! The next one is still over 5 months away but I know it'll be here in a blink of an eye!
