Come What May quilt top done!

Last night I finished my quilt top!  I was so excited that I had to do a quick test fit on my bed even though it isn't quilted yet!  I posted this photo via instagram to twitter & facebook and was shocked at the number of likes and comments it got last night on facebook. {thank you!}

Quilt Pattern is Come What May
Pillow Pattern is Jawbreaker

Now it's time to make a backing for this & get it sent off to Angela so she can work her magic!

I also finished my tablet keeper yesterday... so come back tomorrow to see which fabric I used!

I love the colors you chose. They pop! FYI: You may already have your backing fabric in hand; if not, Fat Quarter Shop has all their Prince Charming half off. I picked up some this weekend and many of the prints are still available. Scan through the 50% off section rather than searching for the collection. Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

This is actually a comment on your pillow tutorial. I learned to trim the corners of a pillow to avoid "dog ears" after the form is put in. I cut 1/2 in off of each corner, angling your cut for about 3 inches (from nothing to 1/2 inch)(hope that makes sense). When the pillow is put together, the corners are tight. It's probably personal preference!
